I'm very glad you like the setlist...I have seen Todd more in concert than any other artist....I have tickets for the Todd show May 22nd and the setlist at first glance was tantalizing to say the least...Todd is sharing great album tracks and that's great news! Of course everybody loves his best known tracks but this tour will be remembered for the variety of deep tracks...Can't wait!!!
I've seen a lot of the videos already on YT and it looks like it will be a great tour... My feeling is he's now, "at journey's end", taking his own music seriously again and doesn't deface it anymore as he sometimes did in the past. Good !
yeah man there are tours that are special .. the utopia reunion.. i just like the number of songs played with band that never before had been performed. i was wrong about afterlife-it was performed with the band in Australia i think.. i know there were a couple solo piano tries at it. turns out the hits and dream goes on are with band.. really nice touch..i did watch the video--tony
Thanks for your take on the setlist. I'll be seeing the show in Boston on May 8. I'm treating two friends who have never seen Todd live and aren't that familiar with his music. It's difficult for me to explain why I'm such a big Todd fan and why he's such an important part of my life. I'll enjoy the show...not sure about my friends!
He's pretty disengaged from the audience on this tour. Just plays the songs without saying anything in between them and makes some rehearsed stiff gestures during some of the songs. Almost like he doesn't really want to be there. Pretty strange.
I can’t freaking wait! I’m 56 and Todd’s music was the soundtrack of my childhood. I’ll see him here in Portland, Maine. Beautiful seats, ackkkk, I’m so excited!
I guess I’m commenting in this way late I saw two shows in one week It was incredible I was saddened to see so many people complaining that they didn’t know any songs. I don’t understand how you could want to see him but only know the 5 radio hits. For the serious Todd fans it’s a beautiful tour Thank you for your thoughtful comments Hope to become your Freind
Im about to take my Niece for her 40th Birthday to see Todd for my 40th time spanning 4 states!! Shes on her 7th Todd/Utopia show!! Clearwater Florida on May 26th!! Fired up!! GO TODD WE LOVE YOU FOREVER!!
Me and wife going to see Todd 5/17/24 in Charlotte, NC. Saw him back in the 80s on the Accapella tour in a small club. Amazing show. Todd always marches to the beat of his own drum. Thats why his music is so great with so many different styles.

We saw him in May in Charlotte VIP and will do it again In October in Durham VIP.He and Kasim talked to us after and he held my hand. I love Todd so much. He's helped.me thru difficult times. Thanks Tony, this set list is a grand opera. Todd is taking us on a sonic and lyrical soul journey to remind us that love truly is the answer. We are grateful as long time fans to be reminded that we live in extraordinary times and that being conscious nearly human beings has never been more necessary. They call it a culture, but beware the quicksand, if we don’t stand up for a woman’s world, if we don’t push back the liar, the man who would be king, this may in fact be the last ride. Beloveds, I beseech thee now, be the ones who stand up, no fascist Christ is coming to the rescue, in fact it’s the opposite! Todd Said: it’s you, you’ll have to do it. Tony, I saw Todd at the Ryman in Nashville last week 5/20/24. I went because of the the set list. When I saw that he was playing songs from "Liars", I was all in. Especially "God Said". Todd did not talk to the audience at all. Knowing Todd as a fan, I can weather his moods and whims. But it was vastly different than the last tour he did that was very loose and chatty. "The Unpredictable tour" Todd would have a Martini while playing in a chair and they would just jam whatever came into Todd's mind. Todd talking and being sociable with the audience was great because he was was letting his opinion be known about the Abortion bans, our erosion of freedoms and the ex Grifter in Chief, Trump. Coming out and telling the audience to Vote and saying - "we've got to protect these women." And he was right. It was just a great show because his political stripe was on display. That Chutzpah is what I admire as much as his music. Todd has never been a man to not stand by his beliefs - Thankfully. He is no finger in the wind type. I felt that the ME/WE tour was more along the lines of the seriousness of our Political year and the stakes involved. I was actually perfectly fine with him blitzkrieging of his three hits at the end like a 3 minute punk thrash. And trust me, they were mashed together and super short. It was a poke in the eye, but I don't think that was what he wanted to emphasis in such a serious year. My gut told me that he was wanting to get on stage to alert us that we make good and bad choices in life and we need to pay attention more than ever this year. If he didn't talk and you got the words and the vibe of what he was trying to communicate, I feel that's what he wanted.. If you didn't get it, I think he was putting it in your lap for you to educate yourself about what he was singing about. If that is his approach for this tour - I totally embrace it. He's giving you the info, but he cannot spoon feed it to you. I will see Todd every chance that I can. As far as I was concerned this tour is needed for 2024. He's trying to be the harbinger that might make you think beyond the yapping bobble heads that feed you THIER version of facts on the new networks. Keep on Todd. You are a voice for those of us that get your message and need someone like you to stand and sing that the world is not right,
