When it comes to meal prep containers, I look for containers that are durable and reusable, can be used in both cold storage and warmed up and are non-toxic. That means no plastic. So my favorite meal prep containers (or general food storage containers) are all made from glass and silicone - and I use these for meal prepping healthy meals every week. Enjoy the video!

Hi guys! Oh wow. You LOVED my recent meal prep video, so needless to say I'll definitely be doing more of those in the future. But today I wanted to share my favorite meal prep containers, as I received many questions for recommendations. Just found your videos. Such GREAT helpful info. I’ve watched many of them. 😃 You mentioned that some BPA-free plastic isn’t good. I want to get these glass storage with the airtight lids. Are they perfectly safe?

I’ve been slowly saving jars from foods I buy including nut butters, spaghetti sauce, olives, roasted red peppers etc. I run them through the dishwasher and store them.

Lisa, I just found out about you. OMG! So many things I've needed help on, and all these wonderful videos addressing them, from container choice to meal prep to perfect hard-boiled eggs! Perspective Portions I agree. I just bought some glass containers last month. Now I need to consider the zip lock replacements. I don’t know how many I’ll need. I hope to use some in the freezer but since I make a smoothly daily it’s just too expensive to get at least 30 so I may need to consider alternatives for frozen bananas, berries & greens. I made some hockey pucks of frozen collards that I steamed but I’m not a fan. My blend is good but not ideal.

Ya that sounds like it would be a lot. I'd try a few of the bags out first to see how you like them. Maybe a shorter rotation would work?

Love your energy! It's really great to see a creator that focus on something important like health. Not just through the food, but also other detail such as the container. Love the way you talk and your word choices. Not like other "youtuber" that overly aggressive and exaggerate everything, you have your own class, audience, and mission! You look and sound smart, convincing, intellectual, prepared, and pretty of course lol. I know you from your meal prep video since Im a college student that just decided to do it to save time and money. Your video was so helpful and I will try it next week! I've always had an issue with the lids on glass not sealing as well as plastic. Glad to see the lids have really improved. Love glass as it doesn't stain .

Gosh. This really helps, i am to be Zero waste or close to it as well as effective and sustainable. This helps me so much. I am going to make life better. I will be able to use the bags for snacking in my nursing shift, better for my healthy snacking. I will use the rest fir meal prep. Very happy.

A few seconds into the video and I wanted to mention how you are KILLING the game ✊ ❤️ my biggest issue wasn’t that I couldn’t meal prep, I just wasn’t well equipped because I had Tupperware bowls the size to feed a family at the dinner table instead of single serve containers. I invested in mason jars and different size containers. TJ max and target is a good place for Tupperware and the container store is also good for storing ingredients like vegetables and fruits ☺️😊

I tried out the flexible meal prep last week! It worked so well. I normally don't meal prep because i don't like eating the same meals every day. But prepping ingredients made life easier and i made better choices. Thank you!

Hi, Lisa! This was very helpful. I have recently discovered your channel and have not managed to go through all the past videos. Not yet 😁. Have you already done a video about how to keep all the vegetables, or the most used ones, fresh? I noticed how you keep the celery and the carrots and it is an awesome idea. Any other tips? I am always struggling with this as I started to feel that I waste money on buying organic vegetables and in a couple of days they don’t look fresh anymore because I don’t know what is the best idea for storage. I just found your channel a weeks or so ago and I am so excited! Please, do more meal prep! I think many people would love to do this but don’t know and don’t feel they have the time to figure out where to start and what to prep. You make it seem so easy. I can’t eat gluten or dairy and finding your channel and blog is a life changer. I already used Glasslock storage but am in the process of ordering and receiving the wreck jars, stasher bags and the La Parfait jars. Thank you so much for doing these videos. I am completely changing the way that I buy groceries and plan foods based on your methods. I would love it though if you would let us know what size the jars you use are so we can see before ordering, which jars hold which size contents. The FIRST video I saw of yours was the "poached egg" one. Thanks to you & that video we are obsessed with having PERFECT poached eggs on homemade toasted cinnamon/raisin English muffins with mashed Avocado spread EVERY SUNDAY! 😄 Since then, I've sporadically stumbled onto your videos that have relevance to whatever I'm searching. IE: homemade Almond butter, homemade Almond milk, detox smoothies, & now THIS. I have glass storage containers, Weck & Ball, but the Stasher bags was new to me. I just ordered $140 worth of bags from the Stasher site. They're having a sale. So, this video was the deciding one which has me subscribing to your channel. Omg! I have glasslock too! While watching your videos, I thought it looks like glasslock but It probably not cuz we live different country. It's really sturdy, durable. I'm super clumsy I break almost every container I got but glasslock never breaked by me lol Even not for oven one too! And never turned cloudy. Silicone zip lock seems good too! Thank you for the information!
