Same here. I went searching for meatloaf songs after hearing of his death and found this version. Don't get me wrong Celine's version will always be great but meat absolutely slayed it!! Him and Marion were terrific together
A true legend and a incredible voice. In a world full synthesizers and electronics, you can't capture the true voice of a musician. I know, after seeing him in concert, he sounds in person as he does on record. Incredible! RIP Meatloaf

The studio will make an artist. That is the miracle of music. Then you have artist which stand way out with raw passion. Meat always played like there was not another show. It was 1994 I think, in Raleigh NC after a hurricane blew shingles and stuff off and on my home. I bought a $12 HC relief ticket and Meat played at the Amphitheatre. I rebuilt. I needed that show. It may have been $25. That was so long ago Rest now Brother.
I was listening to Celine sing this and then it popped into my head if Meatloaf had recorded it. It has that Meatloaf grand feeling about it. Thought maybe he did it first? He didn't but man he killed it. The female artist did great as well. Wow!

I cant believe he is gone! I am 44 and grew up listening to his music first daye first kiss and memories that will stay for the rest of my life whenever I hear his voice! Had he been vaccinated he might still be with us.
