I haven't looked at the epilogues since I first read them, so it'll be interesting coming back to them after a few years, together with hearing your own perspectives. Avoiding spoilers, my previous opinion was that Hussie was doing interesting stuff with them, but did the stuff in a way I didn't particularly agree with. Now... MEAT or CANDY? (personally, I started with meat because it was listed first, then about halfway through, I swapped over to candy until I got to the equivalent point, then swapped back and forth each section)

Fun fact about generational nomenclature: Generation X was named X because of the lack of a unifying force or event for the generation as a whole. Every generation before had a major event: WWI, WWII, the Post-War Baby Boom, etc. which their name alludes to, while Generation X wasn't seen to have one. Millennials were named such because they'd be kid/teens during the first part of the new millennium, but were also called Generation Y as a secondary because some groups didn't think that was a large enough event to define the generation for, but couldn't think of a better one since the "X" factor name was already given. Generation Z actually has two names that are both valid as the title, but only one is really well known. Gen Z, or the Zoomers, are also known as the Digital Natives due to them growing up with widespread and easy access to high technology and the internet. However, the reason it's called Gen Z is because people forgot the reasoning behind Gen X and heard about the name "Gen Y", therefore leading to the line of thought that a pattern was started and continuing on. This supposed pattern is *also* where Gen α gets it's name, even though a unifying event hasn't actually come through for an actual generational name yet.

neat how they did the physical copy. Kinda sad they stopped making them though, I would have loved to see author commentary for the rest of Act 5 and Act 6

I'd like to say I'd be going into these spoiler free but I am not Of course I have a general idea of what happens in these epilogues and I know what path you take first (take that Jay you can't convince me to join the discord from the future) I also have been exposed to hs2 content so I even know shit that happens there But I will surmise my thoughts whenever I feel like it probably at the least at the end of each respective epilogue Even if I hate these for sure this will be... A [S] ride? No not making that joke even though I already did It'll be an experience for sure.
