Meatballs with Minced Meat. The recipe for fluffy, tender and juicy meatballs.
Ingredients:
Minced (lean) meat, a mixture of pork and beef - 600 g
Potatoes - 3 pcs. (about 400 g)
Onion - 2 pcs. (about 200 g)
Crushed garlic - 3 cloves
Butter - 40 g
Salt - a teaspoon
Pepper - ½ tsp
Paprika - 1 teaspoon
Classic mustard - 1 teaspoon
Eggs - 1 pc.
Chopped green parsley - a link
Vegetable oil - 140 ml
Finely chop two small onions or one large onion (about 200 g).
Put 40 g of butter in a pan. Sauté the onion over low heat until soft.
Add 3 crushed cloves of garlic and saute together with the onion for 2 minutes, then add a bunch of chopped green parsley. Set the mixture aside to cool.
Grate on a small-mesh grater 3 pcs. medium potatoes (about 400 g).
Place the grated potatoes in a bowl, add the sauteed onion together with the garlic and green parsley and mix a little. Add 600 g lean minced meat mixture (pork and beef). We mix a little. Add a teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of pepper, a teaspoon of paprika and a teaspoon of classic mustard. Mix and add a raw egg.
We homogenize the composition well. With the palms moistened with water or greased with oil, form the meatballs. The result was 12 meatballs
Fry the meatballs on medium to low heat in 40 ml of vegetable oil, 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are lightly browned. Remove the meatballs on a plate and repeat the same with the rest of the meatballs.
Place the meatballs in a tray or saucepan and add 100 ml of water. We cover with baking paper and aluminum foil or with a lid and put the dish in the oven preheated to 170˚C for 30 minutes.
Meatballs are ready! They are nicely browned, tender and juicy. They are served warm, but also cold (being made from lean meat), along with your favorite side dish and a vegetable salad or pickles. Meatballs cooked this way can be reheated
