This is the newest latest motorised 3D wooden assembly kit ‘The Viking Dragon Ship’ from ‪@Robotime‬.
It’s an absolutely stunning model and is very easy to assemble.
The kit comes with sandpaper and a screwdriver and wax may not be included, so you can just use a tea light, birthday candle, beeswax, vaseline or similar instead.

Aahh that’s brilliant, I’m glad you are because it’s an awesome model. It’s huge, very easy to assemble, nice and clear instructions and it looks amazing, I just don’t know where to store it now 😂 My only negative would be that it’s turning far too slow, I need to get it connected to like 3AA batteries to see if it would go faster.

Haha that’s brilliant 🤣 I’m not sure if I’d upgrade the motor this time, but try batteries up to 5V first as the USB cable might be just less than 5V

Hey Joe, ah sorry to hear that, and tbh I was considering buying another one and doing it step by step, but I won’t be able to buy one anytime soon as I’ll have to save my pennies for the wee one that we’re expecting 😊

It is a beautiful model when completed but unfortunately, mine is static, except for lighting up nice when turned on. I was shorted on some parts (the small clear bushing used on the pins), and had to wait two weeks for them to ship to me, perhaps that was the problem, maybe the wood was affected by humidity or something but the ribs of the ship did not line up well at all, I had a hell of a time passing the metal rod through them to affix the model to the stand. When I added the clear wheels to the center the gear did not line up with the motor's gear? There were several other issues of parts not seating completely no matter how hard I tried and even if the gears lined it wouldn't have operated well because there was a clearance problem. I did get it all together and it looks great just sitting there but it would have been amazing if I got it to all work and the oars to move, that's what attracted me to buying the model.

Hey Ted. Oh my lord, it sounds like multiple issues in 1 kit. Sorry to hear that. If I was you, I would email Robotime/ROKR and explain them what’s happened and attach some photos and I’d assume they’d replace the whole kit for you 🤞
