Honestly, I may be more of a rms fan than base donut at this point. Rms has been so consistently well done lately and I always know what I’m getting from this channel. The days of donut producing uniform shows seems to be behind them. Sure they have cool videos and some great ones still get dropped but it’s hard to look forward to it as much when you’re not sure which direction they are going each time. I always know Sandro and Angelina are going to bring jokes and insight to video commentary on this channel and that is a complete W.

It’s really great that this videos are essentially supportive of the hacks and don’t just punch down at them. It’s really refreshing.

One of the guys in my high school class built a car for his senior project and entered it into the demolition derby. We all went to watch him perform, and we all petitioned the project committee to give him extra credit because he won.

These videos are the highlight of my week. I’m an old man and I have a very short list of RU-vid creators that I absolutely don’t miss. Obviously RMS and Doug DeMuro and Forgotten Weapons and Brain Blaze. These are my absolute favorite addictions. The chemistry between these hosts are epic and you can tell by how fast this channel has grown even if it spawned from a larger channel and audience. These creators cannot create these pieces of content fast enough for me. Thank you for all the effort vested in this venture and I look forward to more greatness in the future. “If you’re not scared of being judged” I had a 150cc scooter that I was using for DoorDash, and I hooked up a Walmart toddler cart to the back of it that you’re supposed to hook up to a bicycle. I thought it was the dumbest looking thing and I was expecting to get laughed at. My customers that saw it thought it was the neatest looking thing. Also… those toddler carts are well built. It lasted about 4k miles with most of it being 50mph.

I love Angelina and Sandro too, they work well together on camera, please keep making videos and content with them.

The real mechanic stuff is probably one of my favorite channels. I remember when I first started watching it when sandi and Angela first showed up I was kinda on the fence on the channel. Now whenever I see a new video especially with them on I am like goldfish getting getting food. I rush to it and gulp it all up haha. Demo derby would be badass! Fantastic! I once made it about 30 miles on just a battery. I didn't know my alternator was dead until I got the battery light and the truck quit. Angelina and Sandro are the bomb together!

Alright, alright, let's slow down folks. Yes, I'm very happy Sandro and Angela have basically taken over Real Mechanic Stuff, their fantastic. We get some all star guests in some videos, but I don't know why they don't just let them run with it. As much as I want to see them race, that demo derby bit is actually a good idea for all of Donut. Hear me out, Donut covers so many aspects of car culture they've basically replaced what was Top Gear. I would love to see all of their team be involved in the demo derby side of things. -Each team gets some small amount of money to buy a car and retrofit it, via the various online marketplaces. --High car gets twice as much of course. -They get additional money to buy add on parts to fit on their disposable car. -Multiple videos of each team buffing their car, the best released on youtube the rest available via subscription. -The grand finally is a total battle royal but completely controlled via rules so no one gets hurt. --Hey that already happens in "most" destruction derbies, maybe a deep dive video into the limitations would be fun. -I think Joby's team would win even though it's a thought experiment and I don't know the lineup. I would easily watch 30 videos of that over multiple months. Season 2 could bring in other car culture content creators.

Shop I worked at. We had a customer. She was a sweet older lady and she broke the timing belt on her neon. We suggested tearing it down to see the damage. She didn't really have a lot of money so we threw a timing belt set on it. She lost cylinder 3 and be explained to her that she would probably need a new cylinder head. The temporary solution we came up with was to unplug the number 3 fuel injector so it wasn't dumping fuel and burning up the cat or anything and let her keep driving it. She drove it for a year. Was happy that she even got better. Gas mileage didn't notice a lack in power and probably would have kept driving it if she could have gotten inspection sticker with a check engine light on

as a former aircon technician: the fuel pump hack, hose clamps will hold if you use the right fittings. these things can do beyond 200 psi, 50 to 60 psi is nothing.
