Wow, such beautiful bikes! Congrats to your pops and well done selling your bike. Also, good job not buying anything! You earned a lot of points with your better half I bet LOL.
That was a great moment when Max said his favorite bike to ride was the 57 Triumph, just like your desert sled. If I was closer I would have gone just to see all the cool bikes. There's probably more vintage bikes in that building over those 4 days than there at Barber Museum. I saw you talked to Jason Simms at some point. Would you or your dad ever do the Cannoball or the Cross Country Chase? Or maybe you already have.
That was my favorite moment Dave! My dad actually has a bike ready for the cannonball and I would love to do it too but it is quite a big time and financial commitment and with three kids at home and a couple of budding businesses. I can’t see myself taking that much time off for at least a few years. I’ll do it someday though!
Thanks for the tour, so many cool bikes. Duvarna! Love it, I've got three Due singles. Re the NorJap, I had a 34 Matchless with the same engine. It was running, barely when I got it, took it apart, got a lot of work done on the internals but then sold it, regrettably...
Mark with southwest Super Bikes is a friend I let him borrow some of my Vintage Triumphs for a Stetson Cologne Add he rode my Dirt Triumph and was hooked!
