Thanks so much for the video, staying here next year and looking forward to it. Seems a bit tighter than what I was in last year however! They couldn’t give me an in-person room tour so I paid more or less sight unseen.
@@ovimed Dominick Place, it’s near the end of O’Connell, 20min walk from Trinity. My room was 10-14sqm and cost around €260 per week. Location of scape is a lot more central and the facilities seem nicer so I think that explains the price difference.
@@ovimed must be the difference in layout then; last year I had space to set out my keyboard (piano not computer) and I think this coming year I may have to stow it under the bed. Thanks again for the video!
I like a handful of things that can be found in multiple specialties. I just finished my second year so once I get to hospitals and do my rotations, I'll have a better idea of what's what.
Oh yeah by far. It's not comparable at all haha this is sooooo much quieter. But keep in mind I choose this specific room to minimize the noise. In some other blocks facing the street it will most likely be as noisy.
As I said in the video, it is to a certain extent. However, it all depends on your roomates, you can hear them speaking on the phone if they're really loud. The walls are not the thickest.
