Every medical kit that I own has both C.A.T and R.A.T. tourniquets. I carry a R.A.T. in my pocket every day. If you have children, grandchildren and pets try to put a C.A.T. on them. Great video!

Thank you so much! I carry this every day because I have dogs and children. I LOVED your dad. He’s one of the main reasons I carry today. He’s the first Guntuber I ever watched! Thank you to him and the rest of the family for being supportive and allowing him to teach all of us. God bless you all. I live in Arizona and it’s my goal to come take a class at Tactical Response.

98% of the time when someone says the RATS doesn't work, they have never used one of they don't understand how to apply it properly. Most the people I see who say it doesn't work also do not demonstrate full occlusion with a windlass tourniquet in their videos. They always say there was a study that "proved" the RATS doesn't work, but there isn't a single video of a RATS not working with proper application.

Happy to see your channel covering this. Medical training is honestly more likely to be used then gun training because there's so many things in daily life that can go wrong. I'd love to see y'all do a video with Bear Independent and his company Refuge Medical.

You make a valid point, however gun training is still also necessary. We all need to be proficient in both You are correct in the fact that medical training is more likely to be used by civilians more frequently than gun training. Not looking for an argument, just wanted to make a point about gun training. Have a great day and be safe my friend.

It is common to stick med kits within the stocks of AKS74's, secured in the metal stocks by wrapping one around it so both are readily available. Also helps in below zero temps covering the bare metal of cheek weld

My God the only people speaking about nerve damage have not been trained. That's a thing of the past. New EMS services are tournaquetting regardless of how long you'll have it on. And when you need a tourniquet, it's for bleeding that can't be controlled otherwise. So if it's not controlled by tourniquet, are you suppose to let them bleed out? I'm sorry you guys have to deal with idiots online every day, the majority of us respect and love the content you put out.

I love the rats. Is it the best... no. However it's easy to edc and it can get small enough to even work on animals or God forbid little kids. A cat can't do that. I carry a mini ifak with a cat on it as well as a rat every day. Because trauma can be caused by anything. Not just a gun or a knife.
