I go to ProClinic in Guadalajara for dental care, next month will be my 3rd visit. and I'm planning on staying in Tlaquepaque. As for Claudia, when I was at my brothers place in Nuevo Kino, there was a lot of positive talk about her. From what I've read about her, she is very smart and hard working.

Monterrey has some very nice looking hospitals. I got my ears cleaned here at border for about $40.00 USD. One thing I would have mentioned is not to drive right across the border to get dental work or any other kind of medical care. I am talking about those little clinics that are located a couple of blocks from the international bridge. Those clinics do not look very clean and trustworthy. Medical facilities in the good parts of MTY look very nice, as nice as any facility in McAllen, TX.

My dog needs a procedure to remove kidney stones it’s called Laser lithotripsy. We will have to travel in the US to get it done and it will costs $3500.00 so I’m trying to research it in Mexico. If you can pass any information on to me about a veterinary hospital in Mexico it would be greatly appreciated. We live in Mississippi and plan to go to Mexico through the Texas border. He’s a chihuahua and is like a child to us. He goes everywhere we go.

Thank you for sharing. I finally got my husband to understand Mexico isn’t what you see on the news. We are planning on going to Mexico. I have to get my boys through college and told my husband I want to live abroad after they are on their own.

There are public hospitals in Mexico that see after people who can not afford private hospitals. Also, IMSS is a health system for the working class, paid by the employee, the employer, and the government. If you have an emergency, any public hospital has to let you into the emergency room, even if you cannot pay for it.

Had an orthopedic surgeon see me in Chelem. The appointment... The ultrasound...... The drainage of the knee..... And a cortisone shot with the consult. Out the door for 1500 pesos. With a follow up appointment. He's an orthopedic surgeon and sport medicine specialists. Dr Esparza. Super nice guy. Speaks fluent English for those Who's Spanish is lacking. Timely communication with follow up on WhatsApp. I'd be waiting for months to see someone in Canada.

Is my wife telling me a fib? She is getting a thyroidectomy and she told me that she needs two blood donors for her operation. Our son and wife are going to do it but she told me that they have to get their teeth fixed before they can donate. I think my wife just wants to pay for their dental work. But she says this is how it works. What????

I am not a Doctor so i can not really comment on that. But i do know that people have been asked to fix their teeth before they can proceed with certain procedures. I would just google it to find out exactly why that is. But from my understanding it is a common thing and there is an actual valid reason for it. Sorry i don't know the exact info. Dude lmao of course she's lying to you. Think about your home country. Have you never given blood or known someone who gives blood? Under no circumstance have I ever heard that a blood donor is turned down unless he gets dental work first. She doesn't even need two blood donors LMAO how could you even believe that. They use a blood bank. Hospitals in Mexico may ask you to bring in donors but it goes to the blood bank if they donate, which is not mandatory. Asking for donors is a cultural practice they use in Mexico to keep the blood banking system supplied overall. Just see, your wife's friends probably won't have her blood type. It doesn't matter the blood type of the people donating because it goes to the bank, they're not hooking tubes straight into your wife. I don't recommend a thyroidectomy unless she has cancer. If she has Hashimoto's, that is not a good reason to have an endocrine organ taken out This story was made up by someone who thinks you're really low IQ and couldn't put together the multiple logical holes in it

Bro. She doesn't need two blood donators, and in no situation in the US, EU or Canada are people required to do dental work before blood donation, so it's probably the same in Mexico. They won't even have the same blood types as your wife, do you understand? The blood donation is not mandatory, they're not hooking a tube from your son to your wife. Holy Jesus Cristos

I just looked it up. But of course, do your own research, always. This does make sense tho! Why do they ask about dental work before surgery? ANSWER: A dental exam before surgery helps to rule out dental abscesses, dental infection or gum (periodontal) disease. This is important because dental infections may lead to bacteria entering the bloodstream that could settle into surgical areas and cause complications.Aug 6, 2019

@@angelab4652 now, I am lost. My wife is having the operation and they don’t care about her teeth, just her blood donares. I have looked on Google and got conflicting information. It doesn’t matter because she was going to pay for their dental care anyway. BTW, my wife’s biopsy on her Thyroid came back with no Thyroid tissue. The doctor missed. We dressed up in our Sunday best to ask the doctor not to postpone the surgery.

I can not answer that for you. You have to determine that for yourself. All I know is that Medicare is basically useless out here in Mexico. Sorry I don't have much information on the subject
