I loose 3 different medieval style arrows at my good friend Hedward (foam head named after Edward II) - #robinhood #medieval #history #archer #longbow #medievalhistory #medievalwarfare
bloody fantastic man i’m thirteen and live in italy where historical reenactment isn’t really very popular your video really helped me start to reenact celtic iron age reenactment with my group and now it’s a full time hobby so cheers to you 🏰🪔🪶
that's proper mate! history is super interesting, we have similar situation here, that reenactment isn't that popular here. but the scene exists, and those who go, do it well. i want to make my own attire aswell one year. but yeah my point was, good thing to hear that younger generation is interested in history aswell. it's a bottomless pit of interesting stories. cheers from Finland!
30 mts with a bodkin, not too shabby mr. hood. thanks for the content super informative and entertaining, itss been good watching you "blow up" well done you
I was beginning to wonder why I've not seen any of your stuff as of late. Turns out I didn't have the "All" notification on. My apologies. Now to catch up. Looking forward to the long almost 30 min video. Congrats on 100k, well earned.
@@the_hooded_man_ and the characters are just fun to watch like robin and scarlet or even the villains are fun like guy (i think his name is guy) and the sheriff
I also shoot longbow . Admire your head gear . I wear a baseball cap but the string catches it before full draw is achieved. I wonder it the head gear you support was designed with archery in mind.
Yet another great video... i was thinking, crossbows were very much in existance during the time of Robert Hood of Wakefield - I wonder what his take would have been? Not traditional enough I'd wager - but would be keen to hear your thoughts?
