it should be a PDA called "Ancient Heritage", a scroll which has the 'recipe' to the medieval sentry It has two levels, level 1 sentry shoots arrows and has the fire period is the same as charging time for bows. Level 2 also fires arrows but can shoot bombs like the Loose Cannon
Imagine medieval mode hats and item sets. I'd kill use my Huntsman wearing Englishman longbow outfits, my Crusader's Crossbow wearing arbalester clothes, or my Eyelander with a Teutonic Knight outfit, or my axe with a Housecarl outfit... Even better. Why not add mountable horses?
And now, by unpopular demand, a backstory for this 6 minute short! Ahem... Long ago, when the Earth was still young, there lived a grand bloodline of Scottish kings called the DeGroots. They were very frugal, very influential, and very loyal to their allies. As such, they soon colonized a grand castle, which they fortified, and called DeGroot's Keep! In this particular adventure, our hero is the sharp-witted and powerful King Timaneus DeGroot, and his Knights of the Rum Bottle. By this point in the bloodline's history, they had gained powerful enemies; in particular, the Germanic warlord Medicus, ancestor of the foul Merasmus, and his mercenary corps led by the Ostragothic war hero Heavyking! But Timaneus would not fight this foe alone; with him were ten men, hand-picked by his father Durin DeGroot, to guide the mighty Timaneus to glory! They were: 1. Brother Patrick "The Drunken Dullard" DeGroot; his lesser brother, whom can be seen drinking himself stupid in the courtyard. So used was he to paradise, that the presence of a rival lord did not so much as stir him. 2. Brother Phineas "Battle-Hungry" DeGroot; his greater brother, and most trusted commander. Though a drinker as much as Timaenus and Patrick, Phineas used his booze to fuel his battle lust, and thus, win victory after victory! And despite how he looks in the short, he only got a few major burns on his body, and was up kickin' arse by the next fortnight. 3. Dovaheavy; Timaneus' right hand man, and Russian dragonslayer of the north. He was once a bitter rival to Timaneus until he saved Dovaheavy from an army of Greek Snipers and Medics. He eats more than the dragons he kills, and his Pootis--POW can send even the strongest warriors flying! 4. Medalf; his father's trusted advisor, and keeper of the Celtic faith. Despite his ineffectiveness in the short, Medalf is a man of many spells, and the one he cast was the dreaded Murphy's Law Spell, which dwindled the enemy's numbers exponentially. And for those fearing his and Dovaheavy's safety, do not panic, as they were merely dropped hard/hit through a wall. They were mended quickly by the nymphs that patrol the Degroot Forest, and were able to continue serving their king Timaneus. 5. The Black Hood; a French spy hired by Timaneus to be his eyes and ears elsewhere to avoid coups. He's also amazingly good at performing Looney Toons humor. 6. Mundy Hood; an English huntsman that has hunted big game for 20 years. Now a proud member of Timaneus' court, he enjoys the celebratory feasts that occur every fortnight. 7. Engine Eer, the Bearded; proud blacksmith of the king, and trusted weapons expert. Able to survive many an explosion, he has worked alongside Timaneus ever since they were wee tykes. 8, Sven Draconicus; the mysterious Viking of Pyrotechnics. No one, not even Timaneus is truly sure of Sven's origins; only that he's ostensibly fireproof, can survive great heights, enjoys booze, and his wild eyes can bring fear into the hearts of others. He doesn't speak much beyond mumbles, but his axe says more than his mouth ever will. 9. Bart Jeremiah Geraime; young basher of foes, and a new recruit to the Timaneus army. Though the runt of his 9 brother littler, he made up for this by being quick, surprisingly strong, and wielding a mace as big as his torso! For this ambition, this slightly ignorant warrior was given an honorary seat at Timaneus court table. 10. Sol Tzu; descendant of the war refiner of the Far East, Sun Tzu. He has traveled beyond China, and has ran into the Ostrogothic armies more than once, Because of this, he is bitter rivals with the feared Heaviking, and employed himself into the court of Timaneus for this reason. Together, these ten warriors defend Timaneus' most prized possession: The Holy Saxxy; a relic made of Australium-enriched gold, and the DeGroot family's most secured possession ever since they won it in a card game against an English lord.
When the dragon arived I woyld have done 1: Call it's mom or wife/GF saying that he stayed up last night drinking or has bad grades (Best way to get rid of a dragon)
It’s a good thing that King DeGroot and his forces were able to triumph! If Medicdorf had managed to get his hands on the Holy Saxxy, its power would’ve made him unstoppable!
@Daniel Cafarelli In the game, when you command one of your villagers or workers to build something for you, they repeatedly smash their hammers on a set space that materializes wood and eventually turns into the building step by step.
Actually it went as follows "You should have acted. They're already here. The elder scrolls told of their return. Their defeat was merely a delay. For the time after oblivion opened. When the sons of skyrim would spill their own blood. But no one wanted to believe. Believe they even existed. And when the truth finally dawned... It dawned in fire. But... There is one they fear. In their tongue, he is Dovahkiin. Dragonborn! That's how it goes when the old man talks.
+pootis sanic because it hasn't been updated for 5years also it would wreck the "very very few, basically no explosions" rule only the ullapool is allowed for explosions. and the suicidal soldier taunt.
Sukauto hmm you're right. But Valve hasn't been posting any fixes to medieval yet. They did do a few tc_hydro fixes, though. That was nice to see again.
Yeah, rest in peace Courroux29, you were great, I always loved your work ! ... Jokes apart, I'm not dead, and I'm not done making videos, just be patient.
seba robo kiler If you took time to read all the comments I'm sending since 1 month, you would know I had a fucking accident early this year, making me unable to work on my videos. So before you take pride of the bullshit you're saying, I will make this clear : I'm not your fucking slave. I'm not making videos mainly because people wants it, I'm making videos because I love it and because I like to entertain the community. Plus, I have a life that is not entirely dedicated to Machinimas, so if you don't have a video for a long period, that's because I'm trying to get my shit together. Also, I will not use SFM because I prefer to work with Gmod and I'm not aiming for a mad hardcore animation.
One of my favorite Gmod TF2 videos lol. 0:37 "My fists! They are made of meat.." XD 1:56 Me choosing which movie to see in theaters or to pirate would be like... 3:16 Making my own Transformers persona would be like lol. 3:54 Funny fight lol XD 4:23 and 4:28 Expectation vs Reality 4:40 Aaaaaand they're gone lol. 5:23 "Pootis Pow!" Haha, Love that part. 5:53 "Oh shut up!" lmao.
I imagine medievil sentries as cannons that go from small and made from twigs,to decently large and made of logs. Reference for what a level 3 looks like: 2:33 But smaller.
Would be too overpowered, if it was like the actual cannon that demo has. So many explosives, so much knockback. Would create another engineer update if it actually came out.
So! - It's January 2nd already again? Man how time flies. 1st off I wanna wish everyone including you Wrath a Happy New Year! followed by a happy 10th year Anniversary on this gemstone of a nostalgia piece for me and many others. It became a tradition for me to rewatch this video every 2nd of January and leave a comment here - so I'm doing it again this year. I love opening my nostalgia time capsule and go back to those times: being home sick from school, early in the morning 12 year old me watching these wacky TF2 videos and then jumping into TF2 myself right after
Asterix and Obelix Against Ceasar is so awesome movie and it has some of the most wonderful music themes ever. I'm glad you used it in your animation! :D
