People who bought property by the lake don’t understand that the lake’s existence is for the purpose of providing water for irrigating crops, not for their sole enjoyment. Or to profit from it.
It is crazy… my family and I have lived by Medina lake for 12yrs in the different areas and it’s gone down like this 2 times,it’s going to take hurricane like storm to bring it back.. But the reason it goes down is because the farmers use the lake water to water the crops,I can’t argue with that reason because that’s how they support their families… but it is crazy how fast is went down..
Hang in there buddy. Pray for rain above Bandera and soon Medina lake will rise again. You know what would have been a great video? You and your employees throwing a banging party down there picking up the garbage from years of irresponsible people, throwing the trash over the side of the boat or letting it blow into the water from the state park and everywhere else they can get to that water old 55 gallon drums that came off of somebody’s dock just pick up all the trash you can make a video of that make that go viral give me cleaning up the lake doing a good deed that be awesome
Nope I live in that area around the corner from the lake and I’m by far not rich lol.. came out here to get away from culebra rd… lol yes people who live here some do that money but I found most people are pretty regular who work for a living etc..
I’ve always tried to fish this lake. Even talking to some owners and willing to pay. But with no success. There were some owners who had pay as you use areas. I want to say thank you to those very nice folks. But otherwise I came across a lot of very rude people. You know the saying.. you never know until you ask. Yeah… don’t even ask. Very sad about the lake tho.
