Thanks for sharing. It was interesting to see what you got to see in Turkey. I've only been through the Istanbul airport (twice) to connect flights. It was the most fascinating marketplace experience within that airport - the people watching, Turkish food & trinkets being sold. So so different than anything I've ever experienced.
Beautiful video Allison! We are back!!! Awesome trip. It poured the morning of Istanbul but then it cleared up. Very interesting day. The Bosphorous cruise was wonderful. My carry on suitcase for a 2 week cruise was just fine!!!!!!!!

Istanbul is a fabulous city but oh those crowds when the tour groups descend! i am surprised you sere able to video as much on the street as you did...my memory (not that distant) is they do not at all appreciate having a camera toward them. I have seen some confrontations between tourists and locals. You seemed to proceed with caution.

Sorry , the past history of Turkey is not very positive , the Armenian Genocide of 1915 -21 has never been acknowledged by their government….. they try to rewrite history!!
