I got straight up serial killer vibes from that one. What kills me in this is the contrast from how the other preds went straight for the hug with Nervous Nellie, to how Jesse is sitting far af from where this decoy is 😂
Everyone knows those things aren't about real talent, but about what's popular in that moment, if they were going for *real* talent the decoy would have won hands down
I saw the episode, and the reason is because the predator looked right at one of their hidden cameras, so the decoy had to try to distract him with something. But yeah, without context, it seems really odd.

Imagine being a theater student, who had their whole life's dream set on becoming an actor. You finally get your first actual gig, and it's a good one too. However, you soon realize that your dream of having your name on the Hollywood Walk of fame begins to circle the drain because it becomes VERY apparent that you can't do one of the most important things that's taught while you're on stage when things go awry: to improvise and think on your feet and to actually be good at it. Lmao I feel for this 42 year old kid because forever he will have "Me, my mommy and me my daddy" on his resume. I really hope he dropped out of whatever acting class he was in because I can only imagine the torment his fellow students game him for this 😂.
@Bill Patrick Jones y'know the sad thing? I don't think this was a last minute thing or a replacement at all. Think about how the original tcap would do it: they'd use Del as a male decoy if they had to improvise. The only time I can recall a last minute decoy is when they were in Georgia and they had to get that one blond girl to replace Emily (I think that's what her name was). I really think that they straight up hired this guy for this role. I'm sure they regretted their decision after seeing this. But I only think that because the fact that the kid is a theater student (since that's how they would always get their decoys) is by asking theater students was how he landed this role. Now, whoever thought to hire this kid for the role of a 13 year old despite the fact that he looks like he has a 13 year old kid himself and he has a 5 o'clock shadow that most middle aged men have is completely beyond me and whoever hired him should really be fired. But upon seeing this I hope this kid either reevaluated being a theater student and pursued something else, or I hope that he used this abomination as motivation to not be this cringy ever again 🤣.
I feel like if he put a good spin on it during auditions, if it was brought up, it could help give him gain a good bit of traction online with his acting roles
I think the predator was creeped out that a adult was pretending to be a minor lol it's like the beginning of a serial killer movie. He's actually lucky that Chris came out. Super creepy meeting someone offline, who looks different from their pictures and is acting in this strange way. Then him trying to lure him over to the table. "They went away" because you buried them in the back yard.
