The 4 is a bit too powerful for my weight, I laid into them 100% to be fair among all modes.... it can be controlled, Just very very agressive... I'm 160lb and speed mode 2 is perfection... no lock ups and very controllable. Again tho, we appreciate your words and be safe🤙🏼 Thanks for your support

I've been great... took a little personal time out with family and my new baby, and waiting for the Hurricane to arrive. And thank you so much David.... took alot of time time make it real. The Zeus is soo dope... I agree... the winner of the year is Endeavor pro, Zeus, and the Hurricane when it come to value and performance

@@overboardentertainment1569 have you got your ride the Zeus yet? I had a backfire Hammer but it had a bad motor so they let me return it so I ended up buying a Zeus. It was a toss up between the Zeus and hurricane but I went with the Zeus for the hobbywing system. I don't know much about the lingYi esc that's in the hurricane. With the hurricane on sale now it's hard not to buy that too. Anyway great review!

With that much range you will never feel dissapointed and from what I have seen and read.... it's a stable, high speed monster... definitely a good lookin board too. But keeping it real the Hurricane is a pretty crazy build.... Tons and tons of power

It's really kinda a toss up on sea shipping could end up being 60+ days.. even 90. But 1300 is soooo damn cheap for this board.... Legitimately a monster and well built

So idk if you saw my original video but I used to build kick ass diy boards with vesc. That is such a hard choice! It comes down to your desire to do your own programming and your money situation. I'm gunna keep it real, the Hurricane is a savage bro... not many people need much more board then this... If you have the extra 1300 to 1600 bucks, I would maybe consider it.... its really an intense board with a super great feeling deck... This board has a fail safe which took me off guard... it legitimately had nearly 100% of its original power while the remote was still vibrating at me... then all of the sudden it just dies. The reverse of 0 to 100 real quick. But after all that ripping around and multipule takes I got 17 miles which is nuts... im sure just chillin in the 3rd speed mode I'd get Like 23 miles or more .... The board is pretty incredible, no bs, even next to some of the diy stuff I built cuz I was using 36t / 16t with 97s.... but this has big ol gears and pnumatics and feels very similar... its crazy they are only asking 1300 for it right now

The Zeus is so dope, but if you have a month or 2 worth the patience... $1300 for the Hurricane is ridiculously insane. No bs, this board is so dope... But thank you for your comments... I want a Zeus too. But have my eye on 2 other boards now hahah

I can't lie saying I'm not disappointed by the range you got in your range test (also a nice and useful video) even if I got the fact that it was in an agressive mode. In a sense, I was satisfied when you said in a comment that, at least, we couldn't reach less than 18 miles lol. But in another sense, it's too bad that it seems impossible to get the 31 miles advertised except if you ride at 5 mph maybe hahaha. I hoped that the new ESC could arrange that but it seems not... Anyway, this board is still a great crazy value for the current price. I hesitate with the Zeuz for the range point but I also know that I love power lol and it's not everyday that you need more than 20 miles range... Moreover Zeus is more expensive.... Really hard choice that many people are looking to make nowadays.

@@overboardentertainment1569 it must have dropped about 2 months after I got the ET..then hearing about them dropping down the ET to make the ET2 more of an improvement.Only thing changed was the wheels and the ESC and the color.It's sort of loud but then,it gears.

Thanks again bro... The TRX 3.0 is alot better then the Hammer.... Though the Hammer is beautiful, it has an absolutly terrible range and power sag issues in my opinion. You can watch my last range video on it. And Backfire is aware and it's "normal"... But the Hurricane is a savage for 1300 bucks... and like $1280 with someone's code. The TRX IS $1170 with a code... but its a 3p, and the Hurricane is a 4p. Both using Molicels and powerful motors.

The hammer you’re really considering that low stat over priced board? At least compare the hurricane to the propel board or something lol

Where are you getting the 175s.... The 55s would work with most Pnumatics as far as wheel size.... but the design of the Gear would be pretty specific to the rim design. Meepo for sure has the stock and 190mm Pnumatics.... Just let me know what set of 175mm you are interested in

Word I was looking into running the 175 off-road/knobby tires off of the Evolve web site. I assumed since they were 175x50 they would fit the Hurricane hubs...but now that I think about it....those are only the exterior tire dimensions. I am not apposed to picking up a second set of wheels...as that is my overall plan.

Go home do a How To Video for the first model owners... and then go out and do the after comparison. Attach the how to, on to the end of nice clean and simple before and after video.

Oh yes.. powerful brakes. And Evolve has made some questionable decisions but I agree from what I've heard. Good aftersale reviews

Been there, done that : Hurricane carbon's battery is dead after less than 1500km put on it, Meepo with their lame ass 3 months parts warranty does not care (completely illegal in Europe by the way), trucks are weak, have broken many times (both kingpin and hanger) and ESC is dangerous, shutting down everything even brakes when battery is low : this board is definitely a joke, do not trust any of these sponsored reviews and buy any Meepo's product at your onw risk now that you've been warned 🤷‍♂(Evolve has been 💩 too but at least they honoured warranty)

Exellent bro... and for real that black Friday sale is insane. Amazing deal... And Yep! I pinned it out multipule times now and it does every bit of 35mph with pnumatics... as long as your tightened up it is actually very stable at those speeds too.

@@overboardentertainment1569 WOW 35 on AT is unheard of for a stock board considering the new evolve hadean tops out at 26mph. I wonder how the hurricane would match up with the hadean in terms of torque/acceleration. As ive heard the hadean is a beast in that department.

I saw Esk8Unity with 36t gears rip it up off the line... which is crazy. So I couldn't honestly tell you... but it does punch off the like with pnumatics and after 10 miles an hour in the 4 speed mode you must be bracing yourself at all times hahahah

Honestly I think if it's not loose sand... this will get around even more quickly then a Wheel... A nice dirt bike path... you are gone

Okay.. now the Hurricane is definitely gunna be alot to manage on your back... she is a big girl... the Lycaon is definitely better in that sense and still offers very similar power just a lower range... I will be adding portability into today's OPE testing of the Lycaon 3.0... Hope to have it edited up by Monday evening and posted...

You are the 3rd person to talk about portability... so I will 100% be adding it to the testing from now on and just adjust some numbers....

Yess.. I have a full video planned on the subject.... Before and after esc power improvments... And a small how to video for anyone who isn't comfortable doing it alone...

Heyy... yess... brake mode 4 can be used lightly, but it's still too much. Sometime when you really need to stop you slam the brake.... finding that sweet spot of full slam without tire slip is what you want. I like brake mode 2... very strong but no locking up... I weigh 160lbs and mode 3 will lock up at 25mph with full slam.... And the regen is more or less a weak selling point... Braking will get you factions of a percent... but then you have to use up all that energy just to reaccelerate back to speed. A nice constant cruise is ideal once you get going to save range... Hope this helps... sorry for the late reply

@@overboardentertainment1569 That is helpful thankyou, i have an evolve stoke so im used to regen braking. I only asked incase theyre using the motors in reverse to slow the board down ( as opposed to using the motors as a generator ). I see evolve acceleration and braking control as perfect and am trying to identify any differences as im about to upgrade. Have you noticed any cons about the board since you released this video ? Such as weird noises, parts failing ?

*edit I think the tubes that Meepo are using are weak... had 2 flats and replaced it with Backfires tubes and we goood.... if you get a Hurricane, buy extra tubes from a better seller... besides that, it's a super solid board, no lie

@LORFCASTER You are good brotha... I'm Jesse Batten on Facebook if you want to message me anytime... But the motors are great man... legit powerful and as far as I'm concerned they are quality made. Pnumatics are hard to make perfectly balanced.... 0 to 29mph can be done without fear if you tighten the trucks enough. Really nice set up with great bushing... But 30 to 32mph or more on any of the Pnumatics I've riden anyways... just give you that slight feeling of not "perfectly balanced" But Eovans new 155s are the best to me so far... really nice feeling ride and corners. Putting new bushings in it tomorrow after work. I'm editing the Eovan vs. Meepo video this evening

Streets get you alot more range... Pnumatics give you safty

@Overboard Entertainment I'll check it out, does the trx 3.0 ship out of china too? The $1,300 price tag is attractive on the hurricane but that's only if you do the sea shipping option. I hate waiting but i cant justify $350 for air shipping. Was hoping one would pop-up for sale on Facebook but haven't seen anything yet. I'll watch your trx video and decide. Appreciate the info!

No problem man.. the Hurricane outperforms the 3.0 top end.... But the off the line power and mids is stronger on the 3.0 in my opinion.... But I think Meepo sent the new ESC to make sure the Hurricane is the champ for the year.... And yeaa... all out of China man

Definitely go Hammer if you have joint issues... but be aware of the range. Check out my range video.... the Hammer is a dream offroading with tons of power... but after 10 miles of riding it starts to get power sag pretty good

@@overboardentertainment1569 I have the Hammer already and just find it a bit too bouncy. But the Hurricane would probably be too far the other way with the stiff deck. I'll probably just enjoy the Hanmer for now and wait till next season and get a GTR bamboo when the new remote is available.

@Jonny Rocket okay, so.... If you don't do extreme offroading, the Hurricane is a dream... plus you're locked in due to the dropdown and perfect concave. For the street, bike trails, even dirt roads and grass.... It's an extremely safe and comfortable feel.. It's just a tank of a board to be honest.... but surprisingly maneuverable

@@overboardentertainment1569 for 15-20mph carving, did you think the Meepo felt better than the Hammer?

I say that comes down to personal preference on the Hammers rebound from all that flex... but if you get in the motion, The Hammers probably the more maneuverable of the two

I added portability to the OPE after this video created.... but honestly she is a tank. Least portable board I have but... it spends 99% of her life on all 4 wheels not being carried around... but the quality of the board and the feel of the ride is amazing

I think that is best for range.... but for ripping off the line and cornering you want a little give

I have to say I unsubscribed from Daniel when he did a add about wireless buds in the middle of a video a couple months ago or so... but yes... your correct all the way around.... But, the stator size is responsible for what the motor is capable of handling safely... you can pump intense energy into a small motor and destroy it easily without correct programing.... But even then... The facts remain the same, like you said about battery pack and esc. What are the battery pack specs on the Hadean, Hammer and Atlas....? The ESC output on the Hedean, Hammer and Atlas...? And what are the stator sizes on the Hadean, Hammer and Atlas motors...? Now which board is capable of a more powerful, safer output of power Daniel has no one fooled, especially not me.... He is simply stating the information he is given... as am i.... That's why I test and expose any claims about battery sag, range and top speed cuz its all a guy can really do besides state the facts... and his reference to the Watts of the motor not really mattering is because there is alot of dispute on what number to use.. constant or max and also cuz its the same point your trying to make.... It all comes down to the pack and what the ESC allows...

Couple weeks later now.... did you figure out what happened ? Was a used / refurbished board sent to you ? Was there any damage to the shipping box or any more damage / issues with the board ? Has Meepo responded further ?

Hi they finally sent the cover belt but I had to pay 9€ for the border fee, that's crazy if I buy it on AliExpress I found them at 4$ for 2 cover belt with delivery, and the most mad is that they didn't sent the tire. Meepo only want to sell without taking them responsibility.

I understand your reasons... and it's fair that you feel that way because on a personal level it means nothing to you... But, to the community.... without proper packaging from the manufacturer, you could end up with a damaged board before it was ever delivered to your home.. Each person has a right to there opinions... im just doing a full evaluation.
