Meepo V3 - Hidden Speed Gears 

1:54 2nd speed sounded like... "wanna break from the ads?"

Passing Gears! used for passing bikes or other riders, makes it easy to speed up without looking down at your remote to change speed! I learned about this on my Meepo Mini, love this feature

That's really cool give you the gear feel and the ability to pick your cruise control

This is very interesting, I'm glad to have came across this video, I'm getting my board soon so it will be good to learn alot about all the functions

I heard it mentioned with the new esc. I think it's a "passing gear" so you can be cruising in low gear and speed up to pass and then go back to low speed without pushing any buttons. It's a cool idea but I imagine it would be troublesome for a new rider especially if there is no instructions. I think it only works if you're at max mph for that gear so I guess you wouldn't do it accidentally unless you were already comfortable with going faster.

great tip....i just got a V3 recently and found the same thing in speed mode 2: laying off on the throttle and then moving forward gives you a higher upper end. thanks!

I noticed this too. When I was riding my V3, except I did it on Speed 4, I was only able to hit 28mph on flat.

I actually noticed this while I was riding.. I'd find myself accelerating pretty quick for 'Speed 1' or reaching top speeds of 20MPH in 'Speed 1'

Would you not fly off the board by cutting the acceleration that quickly to get to the higher "gear", even if for a second?

Yeah, I figured out this "ratchet" technique by accident... it caught me offguard and was a bit scary.

I noticed this on my mini 2 ER, here I was thinking it was a fault - haha

No ones talking about this at all. Learned this from experience as well and really enjoy it. This is BY FAR the best remote/esc setup in the game. I really enjoy it on the Mini because without it I would probably inadvertently wheelie quite a bit from a stand still. It’s nice to have this feature so starts are smooth and u don’t have to worry about hitting any buttons to get a little more pickup once you’re moving.

Ya I found this out my first ride on accident. Also ate shit super hard because I was in speed 3 and hit the button on accident and it switched to 4 and wheelied and I ate shit haaaaard

I wonder if this makes it work harder or less hard?

Wish my Shuffle V4 was that way, would be a nice safe way to increase speed without that sudden power from level 3 and 4.

Lol any remote that allows you to change gear while on the throttle does that. It's actually changing the gears while riding and not looking at screen basically

If you hold the on/off button and the button to change the speed you can change the wheel speed to 99 and go 5mph mention me when you make a video about that lmao I’ve never seen anyone post a thing about that nor in the info of the bored lol. I found it out of no where lmao

I got the same on a cheap coolnfun board xD. I thought it was a bugg in the esc or smt xD

There's no gears , it's just a quick way to ramp up speed

they say top speed 29mph ... i turn that wheel speed up in the settings and that shit goes to like 40 mph

Yup I’ve know this for a while, when I was on medium mode, it jumped to 20, yeah so this really isn’t a tip for me because I’ve known, but great tip for others
