my mom had a heart attack. her brain wasn't functioning. They froze her to prevent more seizures. brain scan was terrible. first person in 7 years to be frozen to death. she woke up about a week later, all her memory, speech everything. a Miracle.

The doctors indeed worked very hard to save this guys life. The fact that the doctor didn't call the death was amazing, shocking, admirable, lucky, and a perfect example of following ones instincts. HOWEVER, that friend who called the dad to go find his son because he/she was worried is also an MVP here. If that friend hadn't been concerned, this miracle would not have happened. Everyone should have that kind of buddy!

In the 80s Jean Hilliard was found frozen solid. She walked two miles to her friends house. He found her and took her to the hospital. She survived with no brain damage or without any amputations. Their stories are identical. Crazy. Miracles do happen.

This is amazing! He acts and looks like nothing even happened!! He is living proof that the Lord does miracles!! Praying for him for a healthy and long life. ♡

I never have to worry about freezing to death. More like over heated! I live in friggin Australia, it was 35C or 95F today and it's not even Summer!!!!

So incredibly happy he’s alive!! What a miracle. Of course the ER doctors worked their asses off, honors to them for saving his life! I love how everyone gasped at -4. I live in Finland and it gets down to -31 degrees Fahrenheit here (it usually does in the winter).

Even if he was a vegetable? Thats the worst thing you could want for your son. Everyone would go live their life while he sits and watches the years go by, bydoing nothing. Selfish

What's really sad, is the fact that they aren't able to see the mercy and goodness of God in this, and the fact that He orchestrated this, for His glory and for their good. This is the power of God.

I love this program, this is a extraordinary story about this man. I'm learning English watching this awesome program.

Can someone tell me how does he not have severe brain damage, or how he even survived at all, after being deprived of oxygen for several hours and frozen solid. How is that even possible?

When I was young, living in Florida, I decided to put a little lizard in the freezer... I know, horrible. I forgot about him and went to sleep that night. Next morning I remembered the little bugger.. He was frozen solid and I was sooooo upset. I remember taking him outside onto my front steps and rubbing and lightly flicking its chest. After about 3/4 minutes ..Life! It was bizarre.

Ok wait so he died, he is pale... He's a vampire.

Why didn't they ask him about whether or not NASA took samples from him to study why he survived being frozen solid and fully recovering. Rare people like Justin, and Jean Hilliard, are the key to suspended animation. Or, has suspended animation already BEEN perfected but, is being suppressed like many other technologies???

I don't know why they said no one has ever recovered from something like this because there's a woman who was frozen a lot longer than he was and she came back too.

Cried when the ER doctor who saved his life came out. What an amazing thing, to save someone's life and be able to see where they are today, alive and well! God has saved us eternally. How much greater our appreciation should be to God for eternal life!! We will each die one day; it's critical that we know where we'll spend eternity! -4 is a nice spring day where im from in Ottawa Canada. On a really cold winter day we get -50 with the windchill. On a hot summer day we can have +40 and our summers last about 3 months. Then a few months of spring and fall were its inbetween. The rest is our winter. So -4 pff. That hardly seems dangerous???

Click bait tittle. It's impossible that he was frozen. Actual freezing would have produced ice crystals in his blood and created irreversible and deadly cellular damage. In actuality, his body and brain were cooled dramatically, but still assuredly above 0 degrees Celsius.
