Obviously having the kids go to the Big Show is not good for the MLB brand as a whole for a worldwide draw, BUT it's truly amazing and awesome for the true "All MLB teams appreciation" baseball fan -that fan that loves watching how teams scout, spend money, coach/manage during the season, General Manager/President's pre-season/mid-season moves, and most importantly player performance -all comes into play at the right time(s). ***Rant Warning*** So my controversial opinion is this: My Dodgers are under the MOST pressure to make it to the World Series and have a expectation to win at least one or two within the next 5-6 years. Anything less is a failure from a MLB and its fans standpoint. But as far as the Dodgers organization goes: It's already a 'win' because they will more than make up their money in advertising revenue, television streaming/production rights, etc from the country of Japan. Japanese people love baseball more than the average American person....It's not even close. And with baseball slumping each year in American viewership (NFL and NBA take presidence)...It's only logical to seek out players from other countries (Japan/Korea etc) where the fan bases is much larger and the revenue vs profits can be found there. On the other hand, Hispanic/Latin American players do well too but they don't have the fanbase AND financial flex that these asian countries seem to posses.

If they can pay out that much $$$ imagine how much they're making....💨🔥

With such a talented team the Dodgers have built, if the Dodgers do not get into the 2024 playoffs and be one of the final two for the World Series finale, I would blame the team manager for their lack of success. No pressure on the manager, but there would be absolutely no excuse for him not to mold that talent into a winning team! We do have a dynasty in the making.

What the Dodgers need is a better manager, if the Texas rangers let us have their manager, Dodgers would be with at least 2 more rings, we have a very small manager for such a good team.
