This guy got me back into baseball after ignoring the sport for about 20 years. The kid is a freak, hope he heals up from the most recent surgery and kicks ass in 2025.

His success cannot be ignored because of his great humanity.

When healthy he can be ungodly dominant. He's literally the only man who on pitching days.......can single handedly win you a ballgame.

Not going to lie, when I saw there is only 59 views on the video I was expecting a crappy video dubbed in AI voices. This video blew my expectations from the first few seconds alone! This is a fantastic video. Its well edited and very well spoken. Well done! I do hope you get more subscribers in the future!

Being Japanese helped because here we make a guy pick one or the other. Guys like Freddie freeman were pitchers growing up but mlb picks which he would succeed at and tries him only there. Few instances where there were converter from field to batter or vice versa. Kenley from catcher to pitcher and ankiel from pitcher to hitter. Are just a few changed sides.

What amazes me most about Ohtani is he makes you think nothing in pro baseball is impossible......and I'm not just talking about being an All-Star caliber hitter AND pitcher. For instance, in 2022 he was giving opposing hitters fits and racking up strikeouts with a devastating slider and nasty splitter. So you expect in 2023 he would improve on those pitches right? Wrong. Instead he moved away from using those two pitches and started throwing insane sinkers and crazy sweepers. I mean what other pitcher does this? And to top it off......all his pitches are B+ grade or higher. I don't think he has any sub-quality pitches in his repertoire.

It isn't possible for Ohtani to break Judge's 62 HR record because it's an AL record and Ohtani plays in the NL where the record is 73 HR by Bonds. Even if you don't count Bonds' record because of steroid usage, it's impossible for Ohtani to break Judge's AL record.

Without watching the video, I know the answer is already “Yes.” Reason is because most people who may think “no” are seeing it through a subjective lens and asking if Ohtani is “worth it” to THEM. Bottom line: YES he's worth it to the LA Dodgers. Their corporate retail analysts already ran the numbers. Even if they don't win a championship as long as Ohtani is active the total revenue Ohtani brings in with merchandise sales alone (we're talking GLOBAL sales) will pay for the $700M itself in a short time. That's not even including ticket sales and every other type of lucrative partnerships Ohtani's gravity pulls in. Shohei Ohtani's true "value" is really in Billion range when it's all said and done and the receipts are tallied. So yeah, Dodgers can afford him.
