The smash cut to Ky and Goldlewis being the parents got me good. And sleeping Bridget is very cute. May she play Fallout New Vegas, Celeste, and Bloodborne in peace.
Good job both of you on coming out. I knew Celeste was a big game for the trans community, but why's new Vegas being there matter? I don't see the connection 🤔
@@eryvac0074 i dont exactly know, but from my research it is for multiple reasons, mainly that you could be gay or lesbian, and also make your character to be yourself
@@eryvac0074 Celeste is the story of a trans woman and New vegas was just a game that a lot of zoomies played growing up and played characters of their correct gender and gave em euphoria
I suppose that's one of the benefits of living in a castle, I'm certain there's plenty of spare bedrooms for the random children he picks up and takes home
@pug You apparently do care about the transgenderness because you called her a him still even when you know in game lore she transitioned. Tell me something, what's wrong with inclusion and character development. Of all of the GG characters that could transition Brisket makes the most sense right? If she transitions that means the curse of the village she came from still exists, as she has always been a girl and therefore the curse wouldn't apply to her. I don't know about you but I think that is a fantastic twist and way to work around the problem.
@@unhingedresolve512 development is "I decided society is right about me because they kept saying that". Japanese don't use gendered terms because gender doesn't exist in Japan. Otokonoko (男の娘, "male daughter" or "male girl", also pronounced as otoko no musume) is a Japanese term for men who have a culturally feminine gender expression. Not trans, in any reality. And yes, they are ALL like that. If you don't work or are of value, they'll essentially tell you to kill yourself immediately, they are that heartless. They won't even affirm you. That's the culture, and 99.99999999+% of them agree.
As a trans girl, you got my ass with the Fallout: New Vegas and Celeste at the end. I'm not that kind of trans girl, but I know SO MANY like it. It's unreal lol
@@LostSoulSilver There's a prominent meme that Trans People love Fallout:New Vegas. It's uncertain why exactly the connection began, but My educated guess is that : 1:It's a good game, and probably the fan favorite of the franchise, meaning you'll just have lots of trans people play it. 2.The game did gain a notable fanbase at launch made up of LGBT+ people, for being the first Fallout game that let you be gay or Bi in it. 3. The higher emphasis on roleplaying elements in game, may have lead the game to being an safe outlet for people to explore being the other gender. 4. Many of the Trans adults where mid-age teenagers when the game came out, so have a special affinity and connection for the game.
@@JayconianArts ots also very explicit in pointing out the flaws of the american democretic system (ncr in this case), while also laying it plain that the far right (the leigon) is outright worse in almost every which way imaginable. For that reason, its popular with leftists, which a large portion of them are LGBT+ because, well, the other parties seem to want to pretend they dont exist, or outright just want them to suffer.
I think Goldlewis and Bridget have some unique dialogue for their matchup. I haven’t played Goldlewis that much, but I remember him saying something like “If you run now, I won’t go after ya” to Bridget at some point in a match, which I haven’t heard against anyone else.
I actually hate what they did to Bridget, clearly this is shitty retcon or something, i will never forgive Daisuke for this Why did they made her British? Like come on Daisuke
Hell yeah baybee Goldlewis mains keep on winning! Not only is he fun to play, competitively viable, and the peak of character design, he's now a trans ally! The UMA train keeps on rollin'!
I'd imagine that literally everyone in the game would be an ally. I also would like to imagine that, because the game is set in the future, practically everyone is too.
@@ElpheltStan British people don't seem to do a lot of voice acting, weirdly enough. I've only seen a few examples, such as the cast of the Xenoblade Chronicles series
@@MichaelM28 can you shut up I saw in five different comments already typing the same thing, just accept you're wrong and moved on, Bridget is trans and there's nothing you can do to change that. So if can't accept Bridget for who she is, cope, mald and seethe.
Same, briget's bday is 1 day off to mine, but yet, u should play the game dude, its one of the best fighting games and it is really fun, play it plz im begging u
@@MichaelM28 both are correct, in one ending bridget become trans and in the other he is still aboy , so pls let people call bridget how they want because " she " and "he" are correct
@@unhingedresolve512 stop with the toxicity trying so hard to make only one of the ending canon because of you hard bias . in flawless ending bridget remains a boy meaning that " she and "he" are correct since ther is 2 endings seriously this is getting genshin impact twitter level :/
@@louisrogeau1992 your right! Cause a cis person REALLY SAYS "I can finally be happy with myself." Get off your ducking high horse and quit with the transphobia bridget is a woman. Also there is no flawless endings what the hell are you even talking about?
Also, for future reference, I'm pretty sure there's a "here comes the girl" soundclip out there. Sung by a man. Just in case you ever do one for, say, May or Ramlethal.
Makes me sick, those people don’t deserve to be happy with all their “innits” and “how do you dos” ugh… they should it’s their tea and dump it out like a normal gent- I MEAN PERSON
@@lalauniversalis9999 Thank you for asking, joker entertainment! Any character being portrayed as accepting and supportive in the face of an issue like gender identity and nonconforming expression can be a heartwarming experience for audiences, particularly audiences who are themselves dealing with these issues in their personal lives. For a character like Goldlewis, it is especially poignant: yes, he is a reliable and good-natured man and has been portrayed as such outside this context. But it is not lost on viewers that he's also large, physically imposing, and markedly masculine. In his English portrayal, he also sounds Southern and has verbal affectations associated with Cowboys and the hyper-masculinized "Wild West" (which is a largely commercialized and fictionalized portrayal of cowboys, but I digress). My point being that these are traits that stereotypically, people who are LGBT in general, and specifically transgender and gender-nonconforming folks, may not have positive associations with people who share these characteristics. This is of course not to say that any real person of the above traits cannot be accepting and supportive to the LGBT community - unfortunately, this stereotype both endangers and discredits LGBT people who live in the American south as well as their allies - however, media portrayals as well as understood regional/political demographics leave audiences expecting a rather opposite portrayal. And so it is a healing thing and a pleasant surprise for many viewers to see a character like Goldlewis being supportive, affirming, and almost fatherly to a character like Bridget.
@@callmekitto Otokonoko (男の娘, "male daughter" or "male girl", also pronounced as otoko no musume) is a Japanese term for men who have a culturally feminine gender expression. AKA not trans. Japan doesn't care for your feelings, and will call you slurs until you leave or kill yourself. Born Japanese but white? Yukihada is a slur and it leads to suicide a lot. "Trans? Fuck off, you're still my son" in 90% or more of the households. What's the answer to this issue? Change Japan?
@@lalauniversalis9999 It seems you have a reductive viewpoint of Japanese people as a monolith with regard to social issues as well as Daisuke Ishiwatari's awareness and choices with this character. That must be difficult for you to consolidate with this character's development, and your hostility appears to be borne of personal prejudices that you're projecting onto an entire culture. That must be very hard.
@@callmekitto I grew up with a trans person, they exist. He ain't like this though. Obsessed with seeing himself in everything. He's pretty normal, last I checked. You know, Japan is a monolith. They don't want this stuff in their games or the manga or anime or books. Everytime it happens, there's a massive backlash against it. It's the country that will stress kill you over work, they don't care. Gays hate them, lesbians secretly hate them. the quote of "all the support you get is 2 faced and half hearted" is a truth for a reason. Straights also hate them, because most lie about it and hide it, then get murdered for a betrayal. Also, it's not a fear. It's a hatred, big difference, because you're basically saying "you have to be afraid of them". Japan doesn't even have gender or pronouns (hence the male daughter thing) in their language or culture. They only have sex and biological realities, whether a certain group likes it or not. And that's not gonna change, seeing as how Japan is a collectivist hivemind of "work or die", literally. And something that is THOUSANDS, if not more, OF YEARS OLD isn't going away for someone small % of the populations feelings. This fighting stops when acceptance happens but that's divinely so impossible. That's just reality. Unless you wanna go full God and kill everyone who disagrees which makes you a monster and tyrant, who deserves to die for authoritarianism reasons. Again, "Otokonoko (男の娘, "male daughter" or "male girl", also pronounced as otoko no musume) is a Japanese term for men who have a culturally feminine gender expression." doesn't mean trans. It means femboy, or trap if you must.
