The Q CHCSSE departs BNSF's Cicero Yard late at night, headed for the Pacific Northwest. As the rear end clears the yard, the engineer advances the throttle and the train takes off. Waiting for the train to clear Main 3 is an eastbound coking coal train. I set up at the Harlem Avenue Metra station and, since the engineer on the coal train waited west of Harlem Avenue for the clear signal, I got the two trains meeting perfectly right in front of me.
