Meet our Subaru Impreza WRX - Makes my MINI Cooper S look easy work!!

Hey everyone,
It's been a while!! I have been tentative to upload Subaru content as it's not technically mini related but I want to see if you guys would be interested in non-MINI content aswell?? If so, I can chuck up more videos of different cars that come into the garage and can maybe slightly update the channel to more "Torque Monkey Garage"... let us know in the comments below if you would be interested in watching other cars get modded :) Nobody panic though, my MINI is staying well and truly put and when I can afford mods I will definitely still be uploading my "How-To" vids!
Also give me an idea if you prefer a more "vloggy" style too - I was brave and attempted to be more solo in this video and will do it again if you guys like it! Plus, for all the RU-vid free background music haters out there.... not one hideous track in sight hahahhaha!!!

Scooby rocker covers are a known problem for leaking onto the manifold, always try and use genuine Impreza gaskets etc. Awesome cars when serviced regularly. Love the vlog if it's got 4 wheels and an engine I'm happy. Take care 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🏁

Never really been a fan of the Impreza myself, ... But done a lot of work on my mates one and his mates from the club, ... I do Hydrochrome spraying and also powdercoating so club members love me for under bonnet shows ;-) ... WRX is definately the best one to get so well done.

We love ours! Shame it wasn't very popular on the channel lol! Now at 375bhp, once the gearbox is upgraded we will get it mapped to 420-450, she's already for it just on low boost at the moment :) thanks for watching! Hi Miriam, got the intercooler today! I'm like a big kid! So excited also found out my mini is mapped with bigger injectors.. it has a ramair installed but soon will be looking towards a GTT cold air set up unless you recommend 1 and this time! I will listen.. 😂❤️👍🏾🙈😍

I'm glad it's arrived nice and quick :) most people tend to avoid gtt products, as they are overpriced and generally not as good as other brands few mins on Google will show you this... @@ModAMiniGarage Hi Miriam, I've got a ramair installed but very quickly learnt when the air filter is sealed in its own box to me you get that bit more torque threw the gears.. question is can Trev get any discount? with the airtec cold air set up?🤔😁😂👍🏾🙈❤️XX Miriam you now I have to get it knowing I've just bought an airtec intercooler from you.. 😁😂😳🙊♥️🙋🏾❌

@@ModAMiniGarage Miriam why does the R53 have so many choices leaving me with pain in the brain lol DDM? M7? Airtec? All 3 have a sealed box with the filter going behind the panel for extra cold air.. and yes I'm learning the map will have a lot to do with it when introducing more air mass.. I will be a Cooper s specialist!! Crikey!! I've a mk1 Audi S3 bam engine setup at 380bhp.. I no it doesn't sound much to today's cars 700bhp and more but honestly I've upset a load of people with my old Audi s3 with the 4x4 system and dunlop tyres and all the rest it's Great Fun.. the R53 is grate fun and being born inn Cowley Oxford where my 1st car was a mini 1275gt I'm doing this r53 up to remind me where I'm coming from and to cause as much up set on the streets when RAG TIME from the lights!! 😳😁😂😂😂🙈🙊🙋🏾♥️❌

Don’t diversify too much think you’ll get lost in the RU-vid black hole. Keep to the mini mods with lots of practical advice and links to your store. Btw. Still enjoyed the video tough, you guys won the lottery?! 😬

Hahahaha I wish! Essentially Jon sold all his mini parts and bought this cheap... He then before picking it up and examining it ordered loads of parts under the assumption the rocker gasket was the issue.... It wasn't lol! So ended up with loads of parts... If you havnt already watched this channel (Subi-performance) i suggest you do as building an Impreza engine isn't the same as an inline engine and many engines fail due to incorrect assembly
