1. I was not familiar with Zenith before this review, but as a fellow WLW and Disney/Kingdom Hearts fan, I automatically trust her. 2. I hope someday someone will figure out the right way to make a raunchy Muppets spoof. The closest I've seen is The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell, which was done by Brian Henson himself. It's got a hot human woman who dresses like a goth housewife, a guest spot from Dita von Teese (also hot), and a horny raccoon puppet. You might like it. 3. "Spirit in The Sky" and "Fortunate Son" should be banned from all future Vietnam movies. 4. Do the Rangoons not like Glove & Boots?
I love Curious Creations of Christine McConnell. I don't understand why it exists and will be v sad when it no longer does (kinda like how I felt about Blood Drive)
I dunno how they feel about Glove and Boots, I threw that line into the script at nearly the last minute because I thought it'd be funny for there to be some puppet-rivalry.
have you seen their policies on media violence? you cant say Crap or Punch a guy, something like power rangers is banned from showing there (ironic since the show was filmed there for a while)
Why do people consider the story structure of this to be bad? It's a blob of subplots put together with lead-laced glitter glue, like Desperate Living.
It's not even like it would be better if they streamlined it. The hippo is depressed, the fox is gay, the bunny has aids and the cute one is innocent. If they streamlined that, it would be over in 30 minutes. Almost like meet the feebles is very shallow....
@@sirtoby4939 I think it could be streamlined a bit. I can't think of what would be best to cut as I haven't seen the movie in a few years, I just know that it had it's good points but was also mired in an overall kind of boring tone until the last 20 minutes or so.
9:41 that frog Marley joke was pretty funny and to be fair that puppet doesn’t look anything like a spider. It looks like a frog. and don’t blame the lighting. I can’t really see it as a spider. It looks more like a frog due to the head.
Oh and final follow up. I love it when people can't keep it together and break character cause they're so tickled at a joke. Zennith nearly loses her shit when you tell her to put her hat back on. I love that.
Swift Nimblefoot Agreed, I’m not brave enough to actually watch this movie, but what I’ve seen is enough to give me mental scars. Being a Muppets fan does not help...
I don't want to make myself look like "omniscient", but I think you didn't understand the movie. This movie is for the people who like this kinde of humor. Yeah, is offessive movie, but is a good offensive movie. Is like Fritz the cat is offensive but he use the violence to send a message and I think this movie want let people know the real behind the scenes of the actors who works in the theathre. They are real human with personal problem, and they are in the stage we just see actor and nothing more. Or just maybe I imaginad all of this but still think about this.
Good LORD, it's like "The Underground Comedy Tour" with a slightly higher budget. "Sheltered edge" at its finest until the sodomy number. THAT was some truly edgy, boundary-pushing stuff in among all the "I scribbled this as a doodle in my jr. high notebook" imagery and jokes. Review's great, though. Please take the Rangoons hostage and review more films with them. Not that I would ever dream of making such a bold request of The Mistress. Just...an idea.
I am not sure if anyone had brought this up but, Jim Henson's Daughter stormed out of the viewing of this film. She hated it. I can only speculate from memory about an interview i read.

Isle of Rangoon is mainly a channel of puppets who riff on media. Think rifftrax but with puppets. They do amazing work. As for me, I make analysis videos on anime, movies, and video games. I also do podcasts on Disney related media. Which is why Meet The Feebles was rather different for me to review. :)
