Everyone meet the Jewish Nomads (‪@thejewishnomads‬ ). This was a very special time for us. The Jewish Nomads are a gift to the world. We felt like we've known them our entire lives. We were so inspired by their story so thank Gd we were able to do an on the spot interview with them while they were visiting LA. We didn't want you guys to just hear it from us. We wanted you to hear from them with your own ears. Also, if you are in the LA area, go and visit Mitvzahland Judaica! It's an amazing store!

My wife and I also practiced that 1 year law in the Torah. It’s cool to see they did it too and it’s a normal Jewish practice. Dope video. Keep going 💪🏽

Sounds great, we had Shabbos guests ( just like 2-3 at a time, Seminary/ Yeshiva kids) but maybe that wasn't the best way.....

The Jewish Nomads turned out to be someone different. I had them confused with "That Jewish Family". I actually never watched the real "The Jewish Nomads" until today.

Everything belongs to HaShem, and we are his conservators, especially those of us that have abundance, it is our job to share it with others. Because if you are successful, it is because God wants you to be, and he’s allowing you to manage HIS assets, and making sure that you take care of the less fortunate. Especially orphans, widows, refugees, it is only right, and HaShem😅 blesses his people that do that.

House of Lev “Out In The World” is the best! I loved seeing “Mitzvahland”, must be Chabad-operated. Simply from the behavior you described. Went to their website, no mention of Chabad BUT their phone number gave it away...it includes the number 770! 🎯 Thank Gd for The Rebbe זיע״א and for the worldview he shared, he and his wife Rebbitzen Chaya Mushka זיע״א parented many children, helping to create a joyous and awoken Jewish world. My soul is where my Judaism lives. And I co-sign on everything that the Jewish Nomads said! 💯

Much love and respect for the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Chabad has been a blessing to the world. But Not sure if they are Chabad! 👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾

The story with Rab Zusha has one more part. Reb Zusha asked the guest if there was anything he can help him with, to which the guest replied that the great Rabbi, the Magid, sent him to learn from Reb Zusha how to accept everything from Hashem with Love and full trust. Reb Zusha, visibly perplexed, said "I don't understand why the Rebbe sent you to ME(?). Hashem has NEVER wronged me and has given me an abundance of blessings. Nothing bad ever happened to me!"

About "not having someone come over for Shabbes on the first year of your wedding", this simply doesn't exists in the Jewish culture. It's a nice practice, but its definitely not a cultural thing.
@stephenfisher3721

"In fact, there is one category of Jews which is seldom expected to host others. Our resource women strongly support the traditional practice that newlyweds should not invite guests often during their first year or two of marriage, and especially not for the whole Shabbat day. They will have many years to welcome guests to their Shabbat table. Now is the time to build their life together, and for that they need their privacy." I am Sephardi, and I have never heard of that tradition. But then, we are different.
