Here at Share & Learn, I share what I've learned about my interests. One of my interests I'd like to keep developing is photography and I got this Nikon FM for my birthday. Loving the vintage look and feel (although a little heavy) and experimenting with different types of film.

This was my first SLR, bought it new back in 1978. It's really reliable and well built, but it's not built for speed. Eventually I switched to the Canon A-1 and still have it 35 years later.

I have had an FM for a little while. You'll enjoy getting to know it and figuring out the way of photography with the FM. Every camera has its own little quirks. I suggest picking a film stock and stick to it for a few rolls at first. Have fun!
