Hey guys, I'm proud to make recommendation of Mr Brooks to whom I met when I was preparing for my NCLEX RN exams. Thanks to him I finally celebrated after several trials. I'll forever be grateful to him. You can contact Mr Brooks via text or whatsapp: +12404085402. I'm overwhelmed with joy. He has got everything you need to succeed in your exams be it RN or LPN and you will see reasons to celebrate the way I do.

In the video seems like placenta belongs to both mom and fetus. But in the faculty lesson professor told us "Placenta only belongs to fetus". Which one is true?
@habibnagoriable
@habibnagoriable 6 лет назад
So placenta is basically thick endometrium lining of uterus?

And the baby does not have that much room in the womb, as it grows it takes up all the room.

you are using blue for the arteries which usually represents deoxygenated blood so do the veins carry the oxygenated blood to the fetus in the placenta?
@emphasis3340
@emphasis3340 8 лет назад
Yes. The fetal circulation is exactly the opposite of the mom's circulation. And so the arteries carries the de-O2 blood and the vein carries the O2 blood. 😊👍😇
@jkaur0326
@jkaur0326 8 лет назад
+Ashley Thomas Yes, the way I remember it is that Arteries go Away from the heart and Veins go towards the heart; the same as adult circulation. The difference is that the baby is incapable of oxygenating its own blood so needs mom to bring O2 blood to its heart via umbilical vein. It also needs to rid of De-O2 blood and waste products which is does through the umbilical artery. Conclusion: Umbilical vein: O2 blood Umbilical artery: deoxygenated blood

where are the decidua capsularis and the decidua parietalis?
@noursaied3532
@noursaied3532 8 лет назад
Capsularis is between the blastocyst and the uterine cavity. And the parietalis is lining the rest of the wall of the uterus.

Women didn't have a uterus in the 1950s. My mom told me a baby was in its mom stomach. I wondered why it wasn't digested. Stomachs digest food, don't they? Be glad you're in a new century. The 50s were a bit confusing.
