Meet the team behind iconic New York restaurant Eleven Madison Park 

I’m huge into playing cards. Magic and collecting. When I met my GF, she surprised me by actually being a card player! She’s HUGE into Solitaire. Our one year anniversary was on 12/11 last year. I wanted to get her a very special deck of cards. Her favorite deck is by Theory11, called Monarchs. I had recently found out EMP had T11 custom print some “Eleven Madison Park” versions of silver Monarchs. Shortly after discovering what would be the PERFECT anniversary gift for her, I discovered A. They have never been and aren’t for sale. B. They’re one of the most sought out decks, and C. They’re ridiculously expensive when you can find them. The joke was on me. Just wanted to share that not only is this a fantastic establishment, they know a thing or two about being special. Maybe I’ll win the lottery and for our second anniversary, we can try and get a table at EMP and I can surprise her with her very own EMP Monarch deck :) Edit: Maybe it was silly of me to think there’d be some B roll of this magnificent deck. Also, to those who may read this and know nothing about playing card decks...do yourself a favor and go to your closest Target and browse the absolutely Beautiful Theory11 decks that are sold there. Make your next game night something luxurious and special! My recommendation? Any of the 3 colors of Monarchs that are available: Red, Green, and the originals: Blue. You will see why this restaurant worked with Theory11! (JB, you’re the man!)
