Met Anna Leigh in Mesa AZ at a PPA tournament. On the court she is a BEAST and off the court she is a kind well mannered young lady. Kudos to her parents for raising such an amazing human! She will always be the GOAT of pickleball! Crush those goals AL!

My nephew who lives in Whitehall Penns played with her once ( not knowing she was Anna Leigh ) , he was a 20 years old reservist in the army and said she was at the court looking for somebody to spar. He played singles with her and got beaten 7 /11. It bruised his ego that a girl beat him ( he was quite new to Pickleball but was good in tennis ) but later on knowing it was Anna Leigh, she was ( 15 ). lol

I never played pickleball ever before however I’ve played tennis almost my whole life and it literally just felt like I was playing with just a service box in tennis it was a joke 😭

Love this girls and her supportive family members! Hope many more can find out about their "hidden" talents by trying something new. My boys have no interest in sports, but when I drag them to the court with me, they exceed - without training or anything. But they are adults now and I cannot force them into a sport. I wish I knew pickelball 30 years ago!!

Yes, this kind of tour structure is US-centric while globally, padel is the renowned version of it. And they tried to make it big to gain some form of legitimacy. Even squash is more legitimate, this is at best a recreational sport

Have an open mind and try till u are good at it, then compare. I told my son whose is in IT about bitcoin when it was $200 to invest ( I was wiling to fund him as it is too complicated for me but I can see the potential, the road blocks he put up is so unbelievable ). I finally managed to get another young guy to do with me but by then it had gone up to $1700. I knew about bitcoin in the time magazine about the auction of $50 for 10000 btc and wanted to buy it but didn't know how. Moral of story, you are sometimes your worst enemy. My principle is risk to rewards. low risk high rewards and doesn't make u bankrupt, do it in moderation first and gauge its performance. I have lived and travelled around the world doing business not pride but know what I am talking about. You look young, I hope I can give some good advice.

Pickleball is SO SO SOO much easier than tennis omg you barely move (compared to the physicality of tennis) and the skill set is basically all volleys and feeding. Tennis has a variety of elements making it a way more reputable sport than pickleball!!

dude. you shuffle from the center in tennis to the sideline and its 2 shuffles. literally. you have a 2 and half foot racquet. dont believe, go on the tennis court and shuffle right or left and itll be 2 shuffles to get to the sideline. same as pickleball LOL
