It is nice, but even they aren't claiming it's new because it isn't. Even Cisco now has an option to light up the LEDs on specific ports for years now. The AR view is something unique. Unfortunately, it can be a little flaky when your switches are full of cables, but that might just be an iPhone limitation.

It's exactly what ServiceNow did, they realized they were competing with Amazon not just other enterprise players. Granted Ubiquiti I think has a harder job of who they're trying to displace.

I really hope for an update to the Dream Machine Pro SE so that it is possible to turn the port activity LEDs on and off. This would be a game changer for many. That being said, the Unifi Pro Max is an interesting Switch, PoE++ is definitely important for upcoming access points with Wi-Fi 7 support.

@@thethiefmaster probably but like at 1/4th the brightness for age. but in reality who uses the WiFi LEDs the switch LEDs can actually be useful in a ton of ways!

Awesome! Now my racks can look exactly like they did on Stargate full of blinking colored lights. 😂 Jokes aside though, actually that's incredibly useful; jealous of that feature. Just being able to have more useful indicator lights for fault conditions would be superb, not to mention finding the correct patch.

I personally love this! Every other vendor has the standard simple indicator light to locate a switch or a switchport. This adds plenty of flexibility for identification!

Just hope there's more coming in the way of access and door locks as well as the connect displays, because having one size is not great for all. Looks like I'll have to upgrade my enterprise 24 switch soon that I have owned for a week😆

RPS Pro is MIA, the battery add on has never seen the light of day and the RPS is a strange, confusing and misunderstood product. I wouldn't hold out for it.

I don’t think this should replace labels… requires a known device to be plugged in, but this is pretty cool. Don’t love needing my phone for admin work but definitely has some great applications.

I've definitely been in server rooms that your phones aren't allowed in. I assume the light blinking can be done through the controller without the need for a mobile device.

In a crowded rack it can be useful to just have the individual one lit up. That way you don't accidentally unplug the wrong one after you've put your phone down.
