I MET UP WITH CHEF JP IN DUBAI AND ATE AT HIS NEW RESTAURANT "KOOYA”.
In this video, we explore Dubai and head around to a few tourist spots with Therine's Cousin. Kumar was in full on tourist mode when we headed up to "the view"... the top of a mall that overlooks the entire reclaimed sandy area known as "Palm". From there, we head to the point, eat some delicious Lebanese food! Seriously, it is awesome! A quick stop at "the giant hole", and we carry on to a beach downtown. It is in that area...
We found "Kooya".
Chef JP Anglo and his wife Camille, recently opened this amazing Filipino restaurant in the heart of Dubai. It truly is a place to find comfort, if you are from the Philippines! The food was fantastic, and the halo-halo teaching moment was hilariously awesome!
Meeting a famous Filipino chef in Dubai, and rocking the city like tourists...

Dubai is indeed beautiful. What money can buy! But it is all artificial and man-made. Can you imagine what a naturally beautiful country like the Philippines can look like if further developed.It already possesses God given natural beauty, breath taking landscapes and vistas, from green mountains, awesome foliage, wonderful beaches that come in different colored sand hues, rich marine life and so on. Keep our country clean always and preserve nature and the environment.

the proper way to mix the halo halo is put the spoon all the way to the bottom and then, stir is like a blender....do not pull the spoon up...just mix it under...and slowly the ice will melt thru the halo halo ingredients...try it....

16:47 all I do is to press that long teaspoon on the side all the way down, not at the middle. Then I mix it there so that top portion would go down and no spilling. It's kinda difficult not to get messy from the top down. Try starting by mixing at the bottom before you eat it. 😊😊😊
