I second that. Great channel. I am one who looks forward to your next videos. And they were very helpful. Thank you! Me wife and I just visited Thailand and almost got caught in the tuktuk scam I heard in one of your videos. Offered us a good deal to take us to a couple temples. As soon as the ride started he was driving like a maniac. We arrived at the first temple and the guy was very nice, so we went along to the next. But on the way he explained we were first going to another place to look at souvenirs and real gold. I told him we are not buying any souvenirs. He stopped the tuktuk and came to the side of where we were sitting trying to be somewhat intimidating. Said we only need to look and it'll get him free gas, when that didn't work he showed pics of his daughter and said he really needed help. As soon as he moved away enough I jumped out and got my wife out. He was standing there with a mean look on his face. I handed him 100 baht cuz I thought that was fair for the ride and walked away. I couldn't believe we almost got caught up in the exact scam I heard on your channel. It was all exactly how you explained it. There was no way I was going to let him take my wife some dodgy part of bangkok. So thanks again!

Honestly fella, I've told Pete this so many times, to just ignore these whining whingers. It's just not worth the time to even think about, let alone talk and make a video about it, but he continues to do so. But "Up to you", as they say in Thailand... Still my favourite Thailand channel! Story number 3. So, do you think the guy was a well travelled company executive, I think he mentioned it once or twice? What a modest gentleman he is 😆😆😉 I'm not too sure if that story was a wind up.... Lol.... priceless! And I hardly think that the "beautiful singer, lost wallet" scenario is a common scam... Certainly nothing I've ever heard of in 25 years of going to Thailand. I mean, who goes and pulls out $1,000 from the ATM just because some bird has told you she lost her wallet? Can you pass on my email to him, please Peter, because I lost my wallet yesterday...?? 😁 Story number 4. What an absolute legend! Sounds like a top bloke, and I love to hear those stories about guys that go to Thailand and instantly get hooked... so easy to do. But I love his attitude and the way he lives his life, that's the way to do it! 👍 And story number 5... Peter is absolutely right, they are not all hard-hearted, money grabbing bitches. If you show a bit of kindness to some of them, they really can get quite emotional... It's all very sweet to experience. Right, that's enough waffle from me, thanks for the stories as always Peter.... I'm a bit late to this party, I'm having a bit of a Peter's stories binge! 👍😊❤️

I thought I'd give this channel another chance after a long absence. Jesus H. Christ. Nothing wrong with the channel or the many similar ones, but they are all a sad testimony to the stupidity of the human race. No matter how many warnings you give, many folk will choose to ignore them despite being aware of the dangers. For the hapless farang, the narrative goes like this : this girl is different, and it is natural that she should choose to be with a unique individual like myself. For the lady Thai the discourse is as follows : this stupid farang is underservedly rich and can afford to support me and my family who just happened to be born in the wrong place. It is a continual story of self-delusion, misery and greed. Save your pity for the innocent victims of wars and famine. I'm outta here (again) 🤓

So cool..... i stayed two weeks in Bangkok in April (experienced Songkran and many other diversions)....a friend and i stayed at the Centre Point Hotel on soi 10....our balconies overlooked that beautiful park you are walking through.... Unfortunately the end of soi 10 was blocked off at the time leading to the park (a bridge was being worked on/replaced) so i never walked through the park. I will have to visit the park this winter when i return to Thailand. A daily walk through is a fantastic idea....hopefully the construction is done by then....if not...i'll try the end of soi 4 to get to the park (if i can avoid being led astray 😊

I get asked this question all the time I've spoken to my girlfriend and asked her she doesn't want to commit in case the relationship goes wrong and she would feel that she was to blame for the introduction I kind of understand that

Hi Peter... Story 1. That's just mental. Thankfully it doesn't happen very often, but it can happen and does happen, when bizarrely they have a problem when they see you with another girl... a prostitute getting jealous! You've got to laugh... Although threatening to harm your new chick is unusual, but no doubt it happens! Story 2. What kind of numpty would get on a jet ski with their valuables like a passport? You would have to have the IQ of a peanut to do that, seriously. And as far as filming your bike when renting - that's pretty standard behaviour now that everyone has smartphones. Good for the rental company, if they are honest, and good for the customer. Although not so good for the old school Thai businesses that would scam you by saying that you've scratched the bike when you clearly haven't! But those days are kind of gone now because of smartphones... 👍😊

The guy and his wife damaged a brand new motorcycle. Had it half assed repaired and then returned it in a low light situation, because HE didn’t want to get ripped off. Seems to me that he’s the dishonest one.

Enjoying the background videos-and the stories as always. I don’t begrudge you padding out the uploads with encore presentations of classic tales but it’s funny how the algorithm can foil your plan of dipping way back into the past. I just heard you read the Australia pearl boat story via your channel a few weeks ago. Don’t know how you can avoid it, but just thought you should know we get videos popping up from you from “1 hour ago” as well as, apparently, 4 years ago. You’re a RU-vid evergreen. Nonetheless, keep up the good work.

Story #2. I've been thinking that I should learn how to drive a motorcycle or scooter, so I can navigate different islands in Thailand. Seems a little dangerous for a 56 year old to learn, then try out in a foreign country. But, there are so many islands where it's almost a necessity.

That’s a great idea 1new story then add some old story’s and add it in to make your 30min , also if you got 2 new stories save one for next Time then use the other one with old stories to create your 30 min video.

story 3: yes, it's difficult to reject the love of a beautiful young girl especially when you're middle-aged. if you've experienced once, you'll understand why other guys get scammed. the 1st story of the crazy jealous bar girl was interesting too.
