So if you base your relationship only on emotions, like passion, or "happiness", once this fades after 3 to 7 years then you'll just be frustrated and end up getting a divorce, and then maybe you'll enter a new relationship thinking that this time you found "the guy" and repeat the same pattern again. The region, Isaan, has some of the most beautiful women in the world, too. In Bangkok if you meet a lovely girl, odds are good she's from Isaan region(NE Thailand).

What I did was to peruse a matchmaking site. I was in no rush, so even chose a free one. I contacted maybe a couple dozen over a period of maybe 18 months. Honesty was the main thing I was looking for, and inconsistency sent me elsewhere. Found one that checked all the boxes, communicated for six months or so, and married her at a resort in Almeria after visiting with her for a few weeks. You absolutely need to be honest with them too. Don't ever pretend to be something you are not. My gal knew right off the bat that basically all I had to offer her was love and devotion, no money here. She was fine with that. I did help her through nursing school here, so she is fine in the money dept. to help her family back home, and buy what she wants. Been married 15 years now, two beautiful daughters, best decision of my life. If you do not spend time and do your DD, it is not likely to end well. And the reason of that is not other foreigners in that destination, but the social media. They now get attention, validation and even relationship via internet from men from the other side of the planet, so being in their country physically doesn't mean much now. I'm pro passport bro, and I would move if my work was remote, but we are creating the same problems. Bo mentioned in one video that it only takes one wrong person to topple all of this but we are also creating a domino effect and creating the same issues for guys over there that we have here. Something to consider is look at the immigrant population of your area. Whatever is large don't get a wife from the same country. She will naturally gravitate towards those people. Give your relationship the best chance possible for the first couple years by keeping everything in house.
