Man i love 198X as well, but this album is easily my favorite. Its just so dynamic. You got Afterimage which is kinda soft and foreboding, then that goes into Completely Circuitry which is a very modern sounding, erratic track. You got steady, powerful bangers like Crimewave and Dataline and I am the Program. You got Ruthless which is discordant and spooky. You got Analog Nights which is super deep and slow. She's a Glitch is like a sparkly, romantic track. Its just a little bit of everything and it still has that deep and rich 80s synth tone with enough modern ingenuity to set it apart.
I think this is the best comment section I've ever read...I recommend listening to this shit at over 100 decibels through like 12 speakers...crimewaves my jam
Holy fuck Ruthless just took me on a ride. If I ever get stabbed I hope this shit plays in the background. It'll at least be hella cinematic. Seriously this is both like traveling in outer space, and getting juxed in gritty alleyway at the same time.....getting juxed in an outer space alleyway. By Cthulhu... You're on Marvin the Martian's block now bitch!
+Van V Aw fuck now Mainframe is making me feel like I'm being licked by a litter of kittens while trying to fly a spaceship.... This is an emotional rollercoaster man.....
EdwardRichtofen Acid Spit,NARC,Memory Dealer,Slum Lord, and Exoskeleton remain my favourite 5 tracks of all time so yeah I can agree but mega drive itself is the best artist there is IMO

Guys is it only me (???) or there are several (may be 2 or 3) themes that are being kind of re-imagined, in all his albums and also with in the same albums. I wouldn't say that they are remixes but there is a single common melody line, I will try to find out which one is which. Please note that this si not a negative comment as this is my favorite artist till today ;) Thanx for constructive comments
Yantryman You are kinda right. Listen to Mainframe. The beginning of Mainframe is in NARC, but not in the beginning. whether it was intentional or not I dunno but I LOVE IT
+Froza Nostra well so far I've been listening to megadrive , timecop 1983, .Miami nights 84, lazerhawl. I like all of them and the murder dude I'm just checking out now, sounds legit
So, does anybody know if there's any significant differences between Hardwired and the V1.4 rerelease besides the extra tracks included? Like, are the main songs on the album remixed to sound better or something?
Prodan Giovani Check out how trackers (basic synth/DAW software) were used (and still used). like madtracker, FT, etc. It's not just synth keyboarding and mixing; it goes waay beyond that. Great music.
