I’ve just started watching your videos. Your enthusiasm and passion for collecting is really great. A lot of people these days focus too heavily on perfect grading and money, but you’re having actual fun which is refreshing.

I also love many of those beautiful covers from the modern comics, some that I have never even heard of. Love your appreciation of the cover art and your passion for the various genres - from superhero to westerns! At the time of this writing, I shopped the final day of a 6 week long annual comic back issue sale here in Anchorage and had a blast . The final special of the last day was $50 for a long-box of comics or 19 cents each! I picked up all kinds of treasures - silver age, bronze, modern; from Marvel, DC, Darkhorse, Image, and more . You’d have gone crazy during this back issue sale 🤪
Wow that sounds like such a fun sale, I would go crazy at that price. And yes the cover art and interior art is where my heart lies. Value, being a key issues etc comes second. I collect for the art first.
I really like your comic book videos, I just don't have the time to watch them when they come out. I get to them when I can. I really like the Silver and Bronze Age DC and Marvels, great cover art!

Yeah there are a few keys of value, but other then those most are hard to sell for $1. I do enjoy them and have a near full set. The movie was pretty fun.
Welcome to the channel, I am happy you enjoy the videos. Silver Age comics are really special to me, I love the art style of that era so much. I think I own 50-100K comics but don't have an official count and there are a ton of duplicates I need to sort out. I have a physical store so I do sell some comics there but not as fast as I would like so stuff does back up a bit. But selling duplicates does help a ton to keep the ball rolling and buying more collections when I can.
Not too large a percentage, Pops and Comics are actually my fun thing I buy and sell but I don't really rely on them for an income. Funko Pops I have to put in a ton more effort to sell by doing the videos etc vs other things. Records, Trading Cards and a few other things make up a a larger portion of the sales I make each week.
5 packages with just a few comic books in them is not enough for a video ;) I just did a video with 1 package with only 5 comics in it...and it was 20 minutes! lol But I'm definitely doing it wrong and it might only be 5 minutes if I cut out all my "ums" ;)
Hey You can make a 3 hour video talking about a coverless comic if you want hahaha Bit for me I like to make videos that are a rollercoaster ride of a lot of covers to look at.
There seems to be a lot of Sean's in the world of comics hahaha but my Friend Sean brings me comics almost every week. He loves hitting the dollar bins and finding deals.

I do mystery boxes with my patrons on patreon.com at $40 a month I try to put together a $50-$60 box shipped to you. I would work around your wants and try to get you comics you want.
Funny i just started re-reading the Judge Dredd Day of Chaos storyline (really great, bleak mega epic and feels very relevant at the moment as it is about a horrible virus that decimates Mega City One!) and you drop a great comic haul video with a load of Dredd comics and the great Brian Bolland art!!
