Ya. I'm ha F cut (man) rite now. And I love u man. These sound so much better than some of the dreamcast magazines on you tube. I still spend money ont his game just to play through. Did some fan art. It was the fucking best. My favorite magaman. Ii was legendary but this polished the ideas.
@@micxploed I feel obligated to let anyone know thru a mega man/music thread. Hard to explain how the mm music resonates. But it’s soo fkn good and I didn’t even REALLY know how good it was until I heard bit brigade.
I will be eternally thankful for the jazziness of Shadow Man's theme (not even considering the epic quality of MMIII's entire soundtrack). Also: superb performances of Spark Man, Magnet Man and Hard Man.
Megaman 3: The moment in megaman history where wily throws 16 robot masters, 6 Sub bosses, Protoman, The Yellow Devil, 3 perfect clones of megaman, A Wily Clone Robot, A 30 story tall mega robot powered by Magical Megaman Zero crystals, And the Wily Capsule at megaman..... And still loses! I mean for christ sakes the only thing wily didn't throw at megaman in this game was his own poop! Is anyone surprised to learn that originally this game was planned right up until the late stages of the games development to be the official end of the megaman franchise?! Yeah this games extremely long and overly dense nature compared to the rest of the franchise makes perfect sense when veiwed as the final game!
I stopped buying them after this one for a long while. I really doubted they were going to top this one. There are a few that were pretty good after this but it took till I started seeing Megaman collections on PS2 for me to bother playing the other NES ones. Megaman X4 was the next that I bought which is in the top five the traditional megaman games. X8 is pretty good too.
Mega Man 3 Title is my favorite opening song in the entire series, which sounds like the end and the beginning, Both tragic and hopeful. And you interpret it perfectly, I love it.
I work in a small office by myself and literally have your Mega Man playthroughs going non stop all day long every day, I just cycle through them constantly. Too epic.
It's a tough call, but I'd give Mega Man 3 the VERY slight edge over Mega Man 2 in terms of having the best soundtrack. I rented the game enough times as a kid, that I probably could have bought it two or three times over. If they had a dopeness contest, both games would rank high on the list of things that are completely dope. I saw it performed live at MAGFest... well, except for a couple mins when I had to step outside and hit my vape pen...
That was very nice! You're in time and didn't mess up the rythms, which makes you straight away better than 90% of the Mega Man covers out there, you did _all the songs_, which covers the 5% and after that comes the sounds, and the stylistic choices... so you reach ~99.9%...you're better than most Mega Man covers on RU-vid.. Thanks for showing that it can be done properly! :)
As a musician (bass player) and a huge MM fan, I can say that of all the covers of these scores I've searched for, yours are the best. Well done! I go back to listen to these videos pretty frequently 🤘🤘
47:00 "He hid himself while trying to repair himself".... What is a line that spawns a tragedy when capcom makes a megaman game behind keiji inufane's back!
Man, I came back here to thank you. Someone made a romhack for The Wily Wars on the Sega Genesis with your tracks, and it’s basically a dream come true playing through it. Thank you so much.
I rarely leave comments but you've compelled me. This was my first Megaman game. My bro and I used to play this constantly growing up. Reflecting on my past while writing this comment, it occurs to me that there is a high likeliness that I've heard these songs more than any other music over the course of my life, so I truly mean it when I say you have done justice to the vision of composers Mrs. Tarumi and Mr. Fujita. This is an incredible metal reimagining of this soundtrack and it completely kills it. You must have put a ton of time into creating this and it shows. I cannot wait to listen to your other MM playlists. PLEASE continue the excellent work!
This is Awesome... In the earlies 90s mm3 soundtrack was created for a 8bit game, with that limitations, but the idea was something like this in the composer's minds.
Someone mod all the NES megaman games with these WONDERFUL metal covers so I'll play all the games !!!! (only played 2 many many times and barely the 1st)
This is still the best (and most complete) metal Mega Man soundtrack series around. I've listened dozens of times while at work. Thank you for making this! Your Mega Man 2 soundtrack is also equally bad ass.
Not sure if this was intentional or a mistake by MET, but the MegaMan III logo in the thumbnail isn't actually from MegaMan III. It was from MegaMan III: the robots are revolting, a game for DOS! So I thought that was pretty funny.
Glitchy or not, this is my absolute favorite game in the series. It's so fucking epic. Play the Mega Man 3 improvement patch and it fixes everything, even adding a new intro to go with that amazing opening track! Legendary.
I'm still trying to figure out the purpose of snakeman and topman. Does the future have a major use for tops and snakes within society that we need a robot master to handle them?
@@Ihazkirbro basically all *-mans have a job, and Wily reprograms them to battle Mega Man, here's the wiki: Top Man (タップマン, Tappuman) is a Robot Master created by Dr. Light and Dr. Wily to work on other planets in search for the Energy Elements needed to build Gamma, but he was reprogrammed and used for combat by Dr. Wily in Mega Man 3. Top Man is equipped with an auto balance system within his body, allowing him to spin rapidly much like a top, which he uses as an attack called the Top Spin to injure enemies, and as a defensive mechanism because the high rotational speeds make projectiles deflect off of him. However, he can't spin for too long because he gets dizzy, and maintaining such high speeds could damage his internal components. Top Man also attacks by tossing rapidly spinning tops from his head or shooting tops from his arm cannon. Top Man is known to be somewhat of a smooth talker, and as such this allows him to make arrangements on Dr. Wily's behalf easier. However, despite this, he has been known to be poor at storytelling and has occasionally been known to push his luck too far. He is fond of physical activities relating to roller skating and has been known to shun people who can't dance
Mega is all like "Yeah I got all this arsenal at my disposal that can 1 hit normies, but u' know? I'm gonna just use my buster" XD Awesome job btw, wish someone would add the music to a rom so its actual bkg music... then we won't get past Top Man stage but meh.
@@earlycuyler4019 MM2 is awesome for sure, but MM3 is pretty damn close imo. The other classic MM games all have great themes here and there, but MM2 and 3 nailed it. Almost every song is perfect.
magnet mans theme is so addictive it should be classified as a drug. scratch that, this whole game should be. I've lost count of how many times I've played it over the decades.
33:17 is the best rendition of the boss theme that is such a prominent feature of this part of the game. The initial notes are just a little bigger, and the theme just a little jazzier and cooler in subtle ways.
Little power tip for you guys; every Robot Master in Mega Man 3 is weak to their own weapon. Also, Snake Man is weak to the Needle Cannon, not the Shadow Blade. Hoped I helped.
This is fantastic. It's always hard to say which OST is better between MM2 and MM3. Takes me back to being 8 years old instantly. Magnet Man and Gemini Man OST are way too underrated.
