LIGHT: Wily, I was going through the expense reports, and I'm wondering why you've built ten skull-themed castles all over the world. WILY:...no reason. LIGHT: Okay.
This game has some of the best music in the classic series. I know that some people don't like this game but I've always preferred it over the other Mega Man games (with the exception of the first two.)
It's just as good as 2 and 3. It also has the best Wiley's castle in the whole series, maybe the best collection of powers too. The only game that I think is as tightly designed is X, imo.
I was just saying today to a buddy of mine that hoped you would get to this some day. Well, looks like my wish has been granted! Look forward to listening to this whole thing as there are a lot of tracks that are some of my favorites in the series. Thanks for all your hard work, man. Truly impressive stuff and hits me right in the nostalgia bone, especially the original six games' soundtracks.
I love how megaman focused on the fact it was wily all along, and yet totally ignored the whole Humans deliberatly causing a genocidal robot holocaust, for which he's been required to carry out at Lights command! The robots cried out "We want to live!" And who's the one to tell them they have rights, they have value, that killing them is wrong and it's barbarism! Benevolent, Loving Dr.Light? No it's wily... it's always been wily who viewed robots as sentient and individuals. This game proved Wily was the Hero all along and megaman is just a mindless pawn of Lights warped narrow vision of robots as tools nothing more. I mean for christ sakes he built rock and roll to be slave workers in his LAB! Meanwhile Wily built Bass with the ability to betray his creator and make his own damn decisions, because to rob him of that choice was unthinkable even to a person such as wily! He may have been power hungry and truth be told he was only crazy against humans, but Wily genuinely did care about the welfare of machines, its just he knew no peace comes without bloodshed.
Not really. MegaMan only “slayed” the robots because they were attacking humans. It’s in his programming to PROTECT them. The reason he became MegaMan in the first place. Wily TRICKED the robot masters into being on his side so he could just cause more destruction. They were just pawns for his own plans. He brings up a really good point about expiration dates, but only did that to get the light robots on his side. Heck, in MegaMan 11, it flat out says that wily thinks robots can be nothing more than tools (unless they have the double gear but that’s besides the point.) So to say that light doesn’t care about his own robots, is pretty false dude
If you love the Splash Woman stage music (and what kind of psychopath DOESN'T love that track?) you MUST check out Mega Ran's version if you aren't already familiar with it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CPEa8mWxYkQ.html
