Call me obsessed, but I've been listening to all you classic Mega Man covers for 8 months exclusively. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. All are masterpieces.
Personally the Proto Man castle theme is one of my favorite in the series. To me, I get this feeling of "You don't wanna do this, but you have to" which, considering at this point you think you have to fight your brother to the death, is pretty fitting

This is incredible man, I've been listening to these for days straight since I found them. Everything is good. The execution of the phrases, the tone, your bends, everything. Top notch. I'm sure I speak for many people when I say that most of the time when I find guitar or metal covers of game music I'm always left a little dissatisfied. Not with yours though. They are literally perfect.
yeah, and intro track too. a very redeeming theme for one of the blandest classic megaman soundtracks (and game too) Napalm Man, Stone Man and Willy are pretty good too
"Megaman 5 introduces beat.....". Yes good old INSANELY overpowered beat. Seriously you could play the entire game through as beat alone and beat the game, it's the most powerful weapon megaman ever gets, and its basically Flappy bird with a psychotic streak!
5 was the first of the series I played. I remember as a kid at the time, I didn't know what the words "gyro" or "napalm" meant. You did awesome with its music!
One of my first personally owned MegaMan titles and, I must say, you once again murked these tunes to deadpan form. I particularly enjoy listening to your renditions (after first having heard them in full form) with only one earbud/headphone on (you see, I'm partially deaf in one ear). The more manually-implemented "monotonic" playback allows me to more easily differentiate between your backing rhythm/bass riffs and your lead melodies (which comes in handy for a synth player who is attempting to navigate certain songs without aid of notation/tablature). Major thank-you for your ability to turn tunes that would normally sound mediocre to the unaccustomed ear into symphonic works of full representative form. (Favorites were: 1: Crystal Man-as I can only imagine the rhythm and arrangement (Napalm Man in that note, too) may be difficult. 2 Gravity Man-the beautiful use of overtones and "progressively"-styled bass totally makes one of my favorite MM tracks exponentially more kick ass. 3. Wave Man- Already a personal favorite for the bright/cheery tone of the primary scaling helps automatically, but your perfect choice of timbre concerning the chosen instrumentation/MIDI effect is spot on!)
Thank you for another great playthrough. So many people sleep on the excellent music of MM5. You have done it justice! That Wily Fortress theme... that Wily Capsule battle... superb.
You really nailed the tune from the Proto Man levels, sounds so much better than the game. Or more like, what the original composer may have actually intended...or better
The scrolling backgrounds were groundbreaking when this game came out. Also, fun fact: In Version 1 of this game, you could skip the Wave Rider "auto-scroll" sections just by touching the right side of the screen at any time!
Oh man, right off the bat, Gyro Man's theme sounds fucking incredible, dude. Those power chords rip, and then the heartfelt, triumphant transition into the B section... it's too much. Thank you for this.

I've listened to Bit Brigade's rendition of the title theme and I wasn't sure if the distorted guitar would work... until I heard the "You got a new weapon" tune. That was perfection.
