You know a remix is good when it gives you the chills when *that* part of the track plays

I want the first 12 seconds on loop for 10 hours injected into my veins.

The first 12 seconds...ooh! Proto Man’s Whistle really tugs at the heartstrings. Music makes ya feel stuff.

I just love this song so much. There is a lot of good Mega Man music, and a lot of good Mega Man intro themes, but this one just seems to be the best. It just has that wonderful, excited, joyous feeling, like it's saying "Yeah! We're going on an adventure!"

I was never much of a Sega fan, but dammit if this OST doesn't sound better on Genesis than NES.

Wow, nice use of my Protoman whistle MIDI (God, it's been ages since I heard it). Teck's arrangement was always pretty neat, as well, so good choice on what MIDIs to use. ;)

You know, making these tracks with Genesis sounds definitely gives them a different feel, but they are so iconic it's hard to not hear the "megaman" in them, at least thematically. Out of all the one's you've done so far though, I think this one manages to still feel the most "Megaman" to me. Not sure what it is, but something just feels more recognizable about the construction of the track. Maybe the driving percussion in the background? I dunno. Good shit regardless.

I loved the Wily Wars version but this sounds even better.

If only Mega Man 3 was a finished game. It has great music (arguably much better than 2's IMO) and new additions plus ideas and cool RM designs but it lacked enough time and polish in my book. But these remixes are not the case! Excellent work, Ren!

Well I used FM percussion in this track but in most of the others I have used DAC samples, the FM drums resemble the NES original percussion closer than what I have used before. Thats probably why.

the drums mega man 3 used were nothing but the triangle wave doing a quick punch, while playing the bassline as well. add in some white noise that plays kicks/hi hats, and you have yourself some mega man percussion. :P

I find this track more better than the NES and the wily wars version to be very honest, this track should’ve been the title theme for the wily wars version of Megaman 3. Not that the wily wars version wasn’t good, it just wasn’t as good as the NES, but after listening to this I find this one even better than the NES version, but that’s just my opinion
