I showcase the Rockman 7 sample, and all its beta glory! I plan to do more Mega Man Prototypes in the future. tcrf.net/Proto:Mega_Man_7 www.dropbox.com/sh/wsxofapytl... www.rockman-corner.com/2014/07...
@sonicchilidog I don't like 3. Not even the music, which is usually the safe point for most games I don't like. EDIT: Actually, I found some tracks that are good, specifically Top Mans Stage, Shadow Mans stage and Protomans theme/ Whistle Concert (AKA: That one scene with the Megaman 1 pictures before the credits). The first two are better as Genesis remixes, but Whistle Concert is timeless
Cloud Man’s theme, Slash Man’s theme, and Turbo Man’s theme were used as placeholder tracks. In the sample version of Mega Man 7, Turbo Man’s theme was used in the intro stage and Junk Man’s stage. Slash Man’s theme was used in Freeze Man stage. Cloud Man’s theme was used in Shade Man’s stage and Spring Man’s stage.
I wish they kept the moving ground in the Intro stage, but to where it moves down and that the design of the chunk is detailed enough to strike as an indicator which tells the player that it will move so at least this way it doesn't catch them off guard and then causing you to die
The sample version of Mega Man 7 starts you off with a Super Adapter, Rush Coil, and an infinite supply of E-Tanks and W-Tanks. The Dr. Wily cutscene in the intro stage was barely coded in the sample version. The dialogue boxes in the sample version are similar to those in Mega Man X. The background palette of Freeze Man’s stage is GBA-ish. Shade Man’s stage and Spring Man’s stage are inaccessible in normal gameplay in the sample version. A cheat code is required to access them. In the sample version, the Robot Master stage select screen features placeholder icons, which read 工事中 (kōji chū) (meaning “under construction”), but the Robot Master icons exist in the sample version’s ROM. The bottom icon takes you to Slash Man’s stage in the sample version, as Burst Man’s stage doesn’t exist in this version. Parts of the Shade Man’s stage lack the background details. The other three icons take you to the same stage as they would in the retail version. The moon is part of the background, and the sky is darker and the elements are more natural, whereas the retail version’s background is brighter and more mechanical. Burst Man’s stage and Turbo Man’s stage are missing in the sample version. The platform effects of Freeze Cracker and Thunder Bolt are absent.
+Betty Roly I don't know if it's possible to do infinite jumps in the Rockman 7 Prototype. The codes that work in the final version probably will not work in the Prototype (you're free to try if you want to bsfree.org/?s=4&d=5&g=5057 ). The Prototype has its own codes(tcrf.net/Proto:Mega_Man_7 ), but I didn't see Infinite jumps listed as one of those.
+Betty Roly If you are absolutely sure you saw another video of someone using infinite jumps in the Prototype, then maybe there is an infinite jumps cheat code. I haven't seen the cheat code on the cutting room floor page of the Rockman 7 Prototype. In most games, I just use the game's debug mode to moon jump/fly my way to a hidden spot, instead of infinite jumping.
@@dendyx5007 Yes you can do infinite jumps. All you have to do is jump, equip the rush adapter, take off rush adapter, and press jump again while in the air. Repeat this process for infinite height.
