1:12 What the!? Look at that piece of art, it's beautyful and has the real Mega Man in it. Makes me wonder how a crossover would be between the Classic Megaman from the NES
I could never get into the classic one because I was too new to the franchise. All I had was star force, and that ended. This show looks as promising as Max Steel to be honest. And I agree with you on the original Meganize ost, that thing went from 8 bit to modern in the most epic way possible.
It is actually pretty worth watching to me, someone who likes the classic Mega Man series. When ignoring the fact it's a poor video game adaptation cartoon, some of the jokes are pretty funny, some of the character redesigns look nice, and it gets better throughout the episodes.
Underrated and Misunderstood are two specific words to describe Mega Man Fully Charged and it really is a Bummer that a 2nd Season never got off the Ground which I think it deserves another Season.
I think the reason why so many people were hard on this show was because at the time, we didn’t know if Capcom would ever make another Mega Man game again and this reimagining was too drastic of a change that many people were reminded of a character they’d probably never see again. It’s like when they had Bad Box Art Mega Man in Street Fighter x Tekken at a time when multiple Mega Man projects were canceled. I think the main problem with this show was that it tied itself into the classic era instead of being its own interpretation of Mega Man so you had questions of “Will Wily turn evil in this series?” Or “why does Light know about Mega Man,” which confuses people who expect it to be like the classic games they’re borrowing from. That being said, it still sucks that the show never found an audience expect for when it was long canceled partially because of the reason I mentioned above and partially because Cartoon Network didn’t care enough about it because it wasn’t Teen Titans Go. Heck, I checked back in on it recently just because I randomly thought of it.
Well lets see. NO Dr. Wily, NO Roll, NO Protoman even though it's early enough, New Robot Masters that Sgt. knight is NEVER confirmed publicly within universe as having created, NO Megaman calling Sgt. Knight OUT on that, NO storyline around Sgt. Knight BEING found out about ACTUALLY being PRO-Robot, Bizarre "emotion based" weakness to Megaman's weapon acquiring, A Jiminy Cricket/ Phila Titus "Conscious" character that doesn't REALLY serve a plot related purpose...Yeah man! I can't AT ALL see where this show went WRONG! XD
@@metalspinda9594 yeah. Like I said making a show like this had its problems. If the Boom comic was anything to go by it did seem like they wanted it to be more of an AU of Mega Man with both Mega Man and Light fighting in some sort of Robot War and Wily indeed being the main big bad and overall having a darker tone but maybe Cartoon Network didn’t want that and wanted it more in vein of Sonic Boom or something.
@@redstreak9430 It was a wannabe "serious cartoon" covered in candy wrappers and spray paint. As "progressive neutral" as it wanted to be, the story story needed to "Pick a side" eventually and I think the producers REALIZED that. THAT's why they pulled the plug! ;)
@@GreenKirby808 The one with the live action bits? ...Well I suppose No live action show, no live action mario movie that SUCKED, which means no animated mario movie that was GOOD. So Ok!
I'll say this right now. MegaMan fully charged would've only survived *if* it was made in the early to late 2000's. Because back then everything was getting reboots that gave the protagonists wild redesigns and newer concepts. I quite like the show and the boss theme remixes are just great but They should've just used the classic design for this show
I only had one problem with this show, and it's that Mega Man having a secret Identity doesn't really work. It's like Super Man, just because you're wearing something different somehow it makes you a different person.
Has anyone realized that Bert Wily in the show keeps getting the haircut that makes him look like his future self, or Dr. Wily? Will kid Wily become evil in future seasons?!? (If they make any.)
I dont think we have too worry about this new megaman show seeing that man of action is making it and lets not forget they gave us an awsome series of a boy with a watch that turns him into aliens (ben 10) so im routin for this show #thebluebommerreturns XD!!!
It's only... okay so far. It has redeeming qualities like blasts of nostalgia and its music. The story telling is a little too in your face, and the animation and characters feel kind of bland. And Mega Mini doesn't need to exist other than be an attempt at being the comedic sidekick.
everyone else: what are you listening to me: megaman fully charged remixed music everyone else: isnt that show for kids me: yes, but all the megaman music is so good
