For context, the original story formula Man was that he was a kid who became Mega Man to fight. So technically it's 2 lids fighting at the end. This is not excusing things this is just more along the lines of pointing out something.

This is still as far out of character as the others, when you consider that it's canonically impossible for Mega Man to kill Wily while he's defenseless. That's probably why Mega Man is "dumb enough" to think Wily caught Roboenza in 10; he's trying to gaslight himself into murdering Wily the way he emptily threatened back in 7.

I'd like to see that. In the mid 2000s when stick death animations were still a thing, I made a crappy stickman/stick death animation where a stickman was playing Pac Man on a PC. The game glitched, Pac Man became self aware, turned to face forward, looked through the screen as the stickman player, came through the screen and out of the game, chased the stickman and ate him.
