Mega Man IV/Rockman World 4 - Wily Battle Music 

I love how the Gameboy games kinda built up to this one. Mega Man 1 for the gameboy has the Head for the Golem Constructed and plays the role as the final boss. The 3rd Gameboy game has the Wily Machine jump around kinda like the fists in this fight. Not to mention Ballade also plays a bigger role and feels more fully realised than the previous two Mega Man Killers.

This is my favorite Wily boss in the franchise. The sheer size of the thing makes Gamma look puny by comparison and makes for a really climactic encounter.

Just another reason why the GB Mega Man titles are so interesting and cool. (Even 2 for better or for worse...)

This theme is....so...great...

MM4 was probably the best musically and story based of all the GB megaman games. MM5 for GB would have beat it on graphics if it were not for the fact that MM4 GB actually had the balls to have actual cut scenes! Yeah! This game had cinematic cutscenes! not just in game graphics but full motion trying to be 3D cutscenes!!! Amazing that capcom could accomplish that with a first generation gameboy! MM4 was the peak, the music was the most composed and well structured... even rivaling nes compilations. And of course having a nemesis in the form of ballade, the 3rd and final megaman killer, hunting you through the game, only to then sacrefice himself willingly to save megaman from death was a profound moment in the saga... sadly because MM4 and MM5 for gameboy were incredibly rare and expensive, few people ever played them. They were great and unique games in the canon that decided to break the mold, they easily could have been nes or even snes games.

This is by far my favorite soundtrack in the entire game

Underrated song from one of the most underrated bosses.

In the early 2000s I was downloading the torrent of (flawed incomplete versions) of this OST and I recall the amusement of Microsoft windows media player being able to sample a play of all the tracks in their various levels of incompleteness, looping. When I first heard this track it only had the first four notes completed. I thought it was a 4 note loop and it was the game over track. Imagine my surprise and delight when the track was finished downloading and it was Wily Boss instead...

The body of the robot looks like Zero.

This is an amazing composition. I’m getting completely lost in it as I listen to as it goes between the highs and lows.

This theme is great and I really think there should be more remixes of it.
