Vile is one of the most versatile and tough characters in the entire franchise... the variety of weapons to chose and use (3 at the same time!) with different capabilities and scenarios is Incredible. A shame there are not enough enemies and levels in the MHX game to show his true potential.
That macro burst is a nod to the EMP explosion ability on Iron Man & X-O Manowar in heavy metal, both of them can use it but likewise it depletes your entire special weapon energy. Vile is like taking Boba Fett and upgrading his Mandalorian armor with War Machine's tech.
Glad to see you enjoying the showcase of my arsenal. I myself am quite impressed with the different types of weapons at my disposal. Shows I'm no one trick pony.
Vile has to have a special weapon for every occasion its like potato chips you can't stop at one he even has a flamethrower technique that works underwater (I know sea dragon rage says that it fires a freezing ray instead of flamethrower but I'm going with underwater flames for fun lol)
When I was 10 I like to use Golden right, two headed slash and burning drive. Yeah its kinda hard when I need to maintain the cost when I was young. But its really help for end the stage and its a lot of damage too
All techniques excellent of VILE, my character favorite reploid RANK SA, my techniques favorite. Triple 7 / Straight Nightmare / Splash Hit I finish game only with is techniques!! (Eagle Storm) 💜😁
As much as I dig the idea behind Vile's gameplay a lot of his weapons are just... Lacking. Way too situational. Also a lot of them are just kind of "whatever", like how Fatboy is pretty much wholly outclassed by Nervous Ghost (less energy, pierces, does the same damage overall). Cool ideas, but just a bit scattershot in design.
I think the reason behind Fatboy being laking are: 1- You unlock Fatboy first, otherwise the game would be too easy. 2- Some people (like me) like that their wepons really pull out some recoil and feel realistic.
I didn't play this game, but Vile's gameplay seems more fun than X. You lose the Dash, charge attack and armor upgrades, but his selection of weapons is more diverse, useful and fun!
I bet that if the maverick hunter series were successful, the longshot gizmo projectile would be either the multishot buster from the force armor in x4 or the zero nuster projectile from x5/6 If you don't know, capcom was going to remake x1-x6 but since maverick hunter x1 didn't sell much, they gave up on that
Well it's really their fault for making the game for the PSP (a portable that only few could afford) instead of the PS2 (the best selling console of all time).
