This trailer is rad as hell, and I really doubt the game could have lived up to the hype - all the intrigue, and mystery of the trailer would be lost when you translate it to a video game.
It sucks that cap com has given up on Mega Man. I think everyone would love to see the blue bomber make another appearance in his own game instead of a smash 4 character.
Holy shit how did this get canceled? I honestly never really cared much for the Megaman franchise but god damn, this is one of the coolest things ive seen in a long time

Capcom! This could easily be redone as a movie. I would go see it in a heartbeat. If I ever win the lottery, I'm buying the Megaman franchise and showing Capcom how it's done. I see new games, movies, action figures, and more. Mighty no 9 was a good attempt, but I can see why it failed. I own the game by the way.

hate to be a buzzkill and i want them to release a great megaman game but don't count on it. they care about nothing but dlc, constant street fighter, and shit resident evil games. every other franchise of theirs means nothing to them... when quite a few could get them out of the huge hole they've dug themselves into
I wonder what the story of this game would be. Wit this trailer it makes it look like it's close to the start of the Maverick Wars yet the other one makes it seem like it is latter...

by the looks of it i takes place in the future. some bad guy summons wily+sigma and their timelines along with x and rock (maby the megaman zx and volnut characters)
happy 35th anniversary rockman!!! :3 would love an ova or movie about this as while the mmo stuff(and the characters being replicas not the actual ones.)didn't hype me at 1st i really love how much it felt the closest(outside the megaman cartoon,worlds unite and to an extent x dive which kinda is salvaging elements from it alsongside other megaman series,just could have a better story tying it.) to a crossover of classic & x.
This is so good! I love the animation and how it shows that the Mega Man universe takes place in a post apocalyptic with the war happening with the robots! Since X is also in this universe the Mavericks are also involve with the neverending battles between them and the Reploids! It shows how catastrophic it would be if machines became sentient like human beings with emotions, feelings, and every intelligence that we possess! I can't wait for a new Mega Man or Mega Man X game!

srocketdude ... I'm not aloud to be annoyed? I'm not aloud to criticize? When we are told that we are going to get this super cool looking thing, and then the people who are essentially waving it in our faces go "Nope! You don't get to have that!" and I'm not aloud to be just a little annoyed?! Really?! I don't hate Capcom anymore (As you'll notice this was posted some time ago) however there are still lingering feelings of disappointment in them as they canceled... what was it... five... six megaman games? Had it just been one megaman game I would have gone aw shucks and moved on, but no... it was more than that! And considering the only Megaman game that has been released for a while now is X Over (Which is simply a terrible game) I just don't get what they are trying to accomplish.... And don't say it's because of lack of fan support! People were pumped for Legends 3, I saw it everywhere! And then Capcom blamed fans for it's cancellation. You want to think of me as spoiled... go ahead... I don't care... I stopped really caring about this thing a long time ago, it's old news that doesn't matter anymore. And no... i am not going to be thankful to Capcom for even bestowing the gift of Megaman on me... Capcom is a faceless company, they aren't a person I owe anything to! Call me what you will, I have an opinion about a company, and it isn't going to change because you call me spoiled. This is (hopefully) the last big tirade I go on about this stupid topic, I'm sick of people bringing it up... good day!

Seeing stuff like this makes me wish that there was a solid story throughout the series. What little I do know is really awesome. I know there was never too much story in the original series- it was almost minimalistic, but the X series added a good story to the mix, but that's been retconned a few times, so I barely know what's what. What I'd like to see, is a big story, bridging all of the Megaman series together (aside from Battle Network and Star Force, of course). I'd love that!
I wonder if the animation for the trailer were made only for the trailer or if they were supposed to be in the game too with some extra context cus megaman gets shot at from the sky and then shoots at it before he's followed by protoman and then him and protoman are fighting for some reason?
Every time I see this, makes me think that this would be a great addition to the series. For me, this looks like the missing link between the original Mega Man series and the X series.
So after 8 years Is no one going to mention the things under Rock's soles? Like I feel like that's the most under talked thing in Mega man. In this trailer it clearly shows both Rock and Blues capable of flying/ or ... Hovering. Like are just going to ignore that?
For those wondering about story, I've come across some real big...conflicting things. You see, the story for this game (when it was talked about) says that it's long after X and Zero's time and Mavericks are arising again after a time of peace so people at that time make clones of the old characters and clones of the evil characters pop up. BUT.... Why the hell is Dr. Light and Wily there then? What would be the point of throwing in Signas and Eris and all them? From everything that the trailer shows it is pretty clearly supposed to be the transition from the Classic era into the X era, at least in the first trailer. The second trailer is much more in line with the story that was given to us, but honestly, I'd much more prefer that it finally show the transition into X-territory and focus solely on that.

Joshua Jenkins yeah that's what I think also, And they had the nerve to make MML3 a NOT free demo with limited uses. BUT nope its the fans fault for not buying a NOT FREE demo. If I recall that demo cost around 5-6 bucks, sure it was cheap but it was till a demo.
