@@Trumpetking93 i hope to see more collabs.....that trumpet and trumpet-like instruments section adds quite a lot to the musc. try to get a video editing expert if you can. would be amazing to see each individual track as it's being played.....
Keep in mind folks that Andrew is playing _every single instrument_ in his videos, except when there's a credited guest contribution or sample. Arranged, layered and recorded beautifully. Even the drums here, I've seen another video and he's keeping perfect tempo on a set. For the quality he brings, this channel is incredibly underrated.
Wow, this is easily the best cover of this song on YT using actual instruments. Something is always lost in other versions but the instruments you chose capture the song's spirit PERFECTLY. We need more Mega Man X :)
Holy cow. You covered an uncoverable song. The sound fonts in the original make it stupid hard to get the right feel for any remixes or remakes, and yet you nailed it.
I was surprised by the title. I wondered how such a metal theme would work with your style and instruments. And it works great. It almost has vibes from 80's anime music for some reason. Makes this version really cool. Congrats!
@@navarroguard7911 That's a very narrow and pedantic way to look at things. Originally, it's only midi sounds emulating instruments anyway. So I could say "duh, there's no instruments here. It can't be any genre". But the music itself is definitely metal in its composition and saturated sounds. As is most Megaman X sountracks. It's electronic metal. But it's metal.
This song is soo goood something about the harmony and chord progressions makes it so satisfying during every section. Ive been hard pressed to find game music this good after hearing it as a kid. Pokemon and Mario are on par but as a metal guy the megaman X stuff is everything to me.
Now THIS is a cover that understands the subtleties of the original song! The strings really add that 'something else' that is missing from other remixes, really loved it!
I ever imagined Boomer Kuwanger theme orquestrated... Now i know how it could be! The most powerful track from Mega Man X ost! Thank you very much for this!!! Subscribed now in your channel!
I always kind of hated this song in the OG game, but if it had been performed this well on these instruments? Wow! Totally transformed and improved on it! I love it! This rendition reminds me a lot of MM8's Frost Man theme!
You know what, trying to step back and ignore the nostalgia - with choice of instruments I think this would be a solid theme song for a cop show. Kojak 2025
That, was so lovely.. I really like it.. better than the original. You compliment each other so beautifully, and I have to say.. the trumpet play felt so good, nostalgic and hero like. Magical to say the least. Oh I'd so like to have a Mystical Ninja pieces played similarly.
This cover isn't as far fetched as you'd think. Besides the part played here by the violin, Boomer Kuwanger's theme featured the Mega Man X trumpet and orchestra hits very prominently. All they needed to do was get their violin part down and then the theme would sound very much like the SNES game by default.
