It really is a treasure trove of references and assets. I never expected in a million years to see so many Zero/ZX characters and locations remade in 3D.
@@bigdoggo5827 Me too, actually that's what made me play this game, otherwise I'd just be in the canon X series games. Instead of just waiting for x9, I preferred not to put aside a game that has Ryu, X and Megaman Legends as playable characters
@@Justarandomguy-d1g I have not played it anymore because of the grind and I've been playing other games but I still recognize that it's a decend MMX games with love details for the wholse series
You know what I just realized? That Zero (Z) uses a crossing slash three hit combo. I always thought it was a sid slash, a downward strike followed by a heavier downward strike in the same direction. It's amazing what you can learn when something is moved to 3D.
While probably not intended as anything special, it's really cool how his final two slashes form an X pattern, almost as though he's paying homage to his old friend.
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort in making this great video. I just love the amount of references there are to the Megaman franchises. I think my favorite would have to be the Command Mission and Battle Network related ones.
I only just got into the megaman series recently and saw this game on the app store because of X's Rathalos armour....not once did I expect Zero to get a Valstrax armour set!!

Love the references (never would've noticed Falcon Armor's classic artwork pose is right before he takes off), though there's a huge overdose of Zero-based music even when it doesn't fit, small nitpick xD
Yeah it kinda sucks that Second Armor didn't get any secret animation. I hope Capcom Taiwan can give an update for him but it's already been a year...I think we should just forget about it
So does the game have a section where you can read the rest of the biography it gives you before you fight the bosses, every time I fight a mid boss or boss the game lets me read this cool bio but then the text stops before it’s done and there’s nowhere I can read the rest later
This is awesome Can you do one for the weapons? Like which Megaman character their referring too like some are easy to spot like Air Buster being Airman lol
I've tried alot of time to do a weapon references video but unsucessful because I lack the skill to make the video entertaining to watch With characters there's alot of fancy movement that does alot of heavy lifting for me when editing. But weapons don't have those, they just spin around and it's hard to make them interesting to watch
It's odd to me how many of Aile's references in the game are from ZX Advent. Considering the leak from a while back, it makes me think that ZXA Aile will probably be a skin, and if they ever release Vent he'll probably likewise have a ZXA skin.
For Massimo. I actually forgot about him, sorry But for the rest I trim them down because I PERSONALLY (very emphasize this word) deemed them not close enough to include so I trim it down to cut some fat from the video
If you are playing the NA version. The content is kinda behind a little bit compare to the Taiwan version Either that, or you set your filter wrong and it show none of the character you don't own
Maybe if it's from Capcom Japan, yeah it could be better. But since this is Capcom Taiwan and they had limited budget, I'd say they manage the look and style pretty well for a mobile game (Certainly MUCH better than XOver)
It's...depend how tolerable are you to gacha games. If you can play Genshin and still have enjoyment than X DiVE is also fine too But if you find Genshin a "gacha bullshit" then sorry to say X DiVE not better and might not be for you
I think there's more important matter to be disscuss about than this (Pvp balance, monetization...) Street Fighters character joining X DiVE is the least harmful thing I could think of. Seeing as Capcom does crossover like this all the time
Monster Hunter is doing great with multiple crossovers tho, their best selling entry had Geralt of Rivia, a Behemoth from Final Fantasy, Bayek from Assassins Creed, etc Also Megaman always had multiple Street Fighter references, this doesn't hurt the franchise any more than not releasing a single new game since Megaman 11 lol, besides this is just a mobile gacha game, we had much worse things in the mainline series.
