Mega Man X Dive Offline is Capcom's Most Important Upcoming Game 

Man I WISH Dragalia Lost had gone offline. I absolutely loved that game.

It would be amazing if some devs used this to revive some older games. Imagine if a company with a bunch of dead mobile games released a 15$ mobile legacy collection and ported it to other platforms.

I remember being briefly happy that they finally made my favorite character Bass EXE alongside his other forms FULLY playable while giving him all of his unique abilities but was upset when I found out that he alongside the entire game being locked behind this online only gacha element which turned me away but now that they are giving us an offline version to play all the single player modes without needing a connection to the internet is a big plus for me.

You might not be able to transfer your save to the offline version but on the brightside the game being offline you could possibly patch the game yourself and unlock all the characters you have and upgrade them quickly

I was a big Dragalia Lost player when the game was at its peak (I say this yet legit thought at first it was a Switch game and not a mobile game xD) but yeah, I can confirm that Dragalia was a VERY generous gatcha game and the exception from the majority of other gatcha games that would paywall mandatory content away from you. It had regular stints of daily free Tenfold Summons for big events and Gala banners, it would typically give players a ton of Wyrmite (the in game free gatcha currency) through doing the events regularly and clearly stages, and in general had some of its biggest generosity stints for its anniversary and half-anniversary celebrations especially. There is a reason when Genshin did its first anniversary and most saw how terrible it was, people laughed and pointed to Dragalia for how to treat your fans. This is also not talking about how the game in a later update implemented a Special Banner for New Players that was updated to around the last Gala Banner and let those players do 10 free tenfold pulls that they could constantly refresh until they got the characters and dragons that they wanted most as well as the Event Compendium that let all players replay through older events and regain all those wyrmite rewards as if it were their first go through such an event. Of course, this generosity also led to plenty seeing the game as too generous when from my own perspective it wasn't too generous. If I had to air a complaint, it did feel like they fell into a powercreep scenario as the game went on and like most online games do. Especially when it came to the set of 5 bosses called the Sinister Dominion where it introduced a new mechanic called Curse of Nihility that was very divisive for fans as it basically rendered most cheese strats to swift KO bosses invalid and promoted people to dig into the banner to try and pull for that specific new character who was best able to deal with that boss or get that specific uber powerful dragon to use. But even then, the game was generous cause characters only needed to be gotten 1 time and didn't need themselves to be unbound with dupe characters like most other gatchas out there. Of course, idk what happened behind the scenes like most people so idk why it got taken down but the one thing I will say is that for all it was worth, I am very thankfully the game was allowed to continue and even finish the story it set out to tell. The cast of the game is just amazing to see in action and I am thankful for the good memories this game gave me. Here is hoping Nintendo does see the potential and gives Dragalia one more shot as an offline version.

I've played X DiVE for a while, but after while, it felt like a chore just to try to stay on top all of the events in order to have my best chances of upgrading the stuff I have & to try to maximize my chances of getting any new weapons or characters I want. Which is still unlikely due to the gatcha mechanic, easily the worst part of the game. X DiVE Offline sounds like a dream come true, so I won't have to deal with these issues & I can play more at my leisure. Not having some of the collaboration characters, like Rathalos Armor X, will be disappointing but perhaps they're saving those for DLC or something. Even if these characters never return for whatever reason, I still think X DiVE Offline could overall be pretty awesome.

The offline version is awesome, well worth the money!

I hope this is a good sign for the genre. I always loved Gacha games for having a ridiculous amount of playable characters to chose from but hated the grind and the focus on microtransactions. Hopefully Square Enix will give us an offline version of record keeper and FF Brave Exvius once that inevitably shuts down. Loved the latter one but the grind and power creep destroyed it for me. Arknights offline doesn´t sound bad either as that one´s a real damn good tower defense game underneath it´s gacha-ness.

Megaman is the most unique IP I swear, have multiple spin offs with only 2 truly separated universes, thanks to that more games than any other popular franchise, rarely sold more than a million, have fan games polished like oficial games, most of the game can be really hard but fans are not co*****kers like Dark Souls fans because is hard, and now gonna have an offline game of gacha/F2P game before somebody gonna attemp to do a custom server like other f2p games that already have EOS.

it's gonna open the floodgates for modding. it's built in unity. there will be mods. plus give it some time. crazy fans will make dedicated servers to restore the pvp and multiplayer elements (non-gacha still)

I look to be the only lover of Mario run in the world. Absolutely brilliant mechanics. Didn't seem too expensive from my point of view either, compared to other android stuff seemed so perfectly priced.

Could this mean we could get the Battle Network mobile games that were only released in Japan translated and made playable at some point? I know their servers have been down for years, but people have been loving the Legacy Collection AND X Dive has plenty of EXE content. I say keep the Battle Network train rolling!

I am really happy to hear this game is going offline and to Steam, not just mobile. As a Megaman X fan, I downloaded this game on my phone a long, long time ago, but I never played it. I remember how great it felt playing Megaman X games with a controller, so whenever I thought about playing it using mobile controls it just.. felt like it would be a shell of an experience. Admittedly, I usually only play mobile when I'm waiting.. like waiting for a doctors appointment or something. And there's very few games that I played on mobile and had the need for precise controls. Those that did, didn't feel great. So maybe I'm biased against the platform and this is the one game I'd love if I had actually given it a shot, but I don't feel excited to try, even as I stare at the game in my phone while writing this comment. Regardless, when this game releases on Steam I'm definitely going to buy it. Knowing I can play with keyboard (or maybe even a controller?) excites me.

Not all characters will be added tough street fighter, monster hunter and even the DMC skins i mean unless they are but i dont know

offline: buy the game and have the in-game currencies

What really irks me is that most of these gatcha games are really only online just to keep premium currency and account data server based so it can’t be edited. I really hope games like Pokémon Masters EX and Arknights go the offline route once they die (which is unlikely).

There are many mobile games I would have gladly purchased in this kind of package for steam/console after their EOS or even still running. Dragalia, Brave Frontier, and a few Final Fantasy mobile titles.

The problem with megaman X dive offline, it that the pve aspect is completely broken, and not in a good way, this is something that the people that didn't play it's gacha counterpart would realize soon after some hours of gameplay. The reality is that, megaman x dive sucks when it comes to solo gameplay, the way abilities work, the weapons, and everything, there's a few things that I have to tell you, just a few weapons actually change how you play the game, but not for the better, at least in pve, and I mean that, cause weapon are only there to nuke or do damage, but they have no supporting capabilities that can change the gameplay in a significant way, like how x, zero and axl play different in x8. Every character is different but everyone essencially plays the same, screen nukes, dashing moves, or beams, whole some may differ from this formula, everyone follows this trend, and it becomes exponentially worst for pve as the you progress in the game, this doesn't represent an issue in pvp content, because the game is built to play against people and interact with others, this is why unit sells, because if the character is meta, everyone wants it, that or said unit is good for raids, but pvp, raids, guilds, and all the fun content is completely cut from the offline version. But pve is fun you say? it can be fun, but just for a couple of hours, once you reach a certain level with your units, you realize how bad and hollow the pve is, platforming is basically non existent and there's no consequences for sucking at the game, if your character has a shield, then congratulations, you can stop using your brain cause you just won the game, spoiler alert, black zero has a shield at 4 stars, as is one of the earlier units you have access to in this game, which means you break the game upon the first or second hour of play time. While I appreciate having the content being preserved, I honestly believe it's a massive scam, currently is like 30 bucks, which is an insane price for an incomplete, broken and quite frankly unfun game, I never spend a dime on x dive, and I pretend to keep it that way, if the pve was revamp to suit the power level of the units you have access to, then maybe it could have done well, but right now, all I can say, is that x dive offline is a pretty shitty waterdown version of it's gacha counterpart, that did nothing to justify the unfair pricing it has, and that basically told people to just buy it for the sake of giving capcom an easy cash grab, I can tell you with all the confidence in the world, that less than 3% of the x dive players that play the gacha is gonna buy x dive offline, and that very few, or nobody would buy x dive offline aside from a few people that are just curious, it honestly doesn't deserve a chance with how badly design is as a platformer.

Then CAPCOM announces X Dive NFTS...........1 step forward, 2 steps back...🤨😒😒😒😒😒
