So this is our obligatory Ride Armor level. And in this stage they come in two flavors, Blue for projectile based, and Red for close range. (Much like X and Zero, haha theming) Anyway, this stage is divided into 4 sections The first section is a straightforward hallway, the second a lot more open, in which case you can just cut to the door and ignore everything, the third has a whole bunch of enemies in Ride Armors in your way, and the last one has you fighting a bunch of Ride Armors to progress.
Gungaroo himself starts off in a Ride Armor. If you're able to, I recommend giving him a taste of his own medicine and fighting Giant Robot to Giant Robot. Otherwise just use your native weapon. Once he's out, let him have it with the weakness. He's a fast one who jumps all over the place, so if you're not using weaknesses, Zero is not recommended for this fight. __
